You are correct she says I still beat you brat. I think she was pretending to be crazy. Like she was talking to herself like she had multiple personalities. I think that is what Dr. Samuels originally tried to diagnose her with-Multiple Personality Disorder. My dad happens to be a Psychiatrist and has told me time and again this disorder is extremely rare but ppl try to fake it all the time.

Flores is a no-bullshit kind of guy. He saw right through the whole situation with their relationship. Part 2 of the interrogation really breaks it down, and explodes the Travis = Goldenboy myth.

The more I listen to these tapes the more I freak out about that little Mormon community of gossip and control. You can just ask a Bishop to tell you the private confessions of another church member? Certain church members who look at themselves as powerful "den mothers" (I won't name any names) get to tell people who they can date, what is good for them, all under the threat of business relationships? Talk about an unhealthy environment.

It's called baiting and empathizing. He was trying to get a reaction out of Jodi by trying to key into what she may have been feeling about Travis by dangling out some truths about Travis, and making himself sound harsh about Travis to make Jodi feel that he empathized with her.

Basically, he led her down the path of crime of passion, but she didn't take the bait. She just lied her sweet little ass off, and then acted weird.

I think she knows she's being taped! Just a guess, but that thing with Flores where hands him the stuff from behind her saying "Oh, do want these, you know, broken bits of things without batteries to record me with" is just so lame! I don't think she thought she was being recorded when he left the room however, which is where the being an idiot thing comes in!

And I agree with you! As a psychopath, she is pretty dumb! She is deviant, she has manipulative charm, but she is not smart! And thank God because if she was smart, she could have got away with this, and there is nothing I am more sure of than my belief that Arias would kill again! What she did didn't rock her in the slightest, and it was a way to solve a problem!
