Okay, so I watched all 17 videos and I am consumed with the fact that Stabby is not crazy or mental, she is a cold blooded killer with no remorse. Just the ease of how she formulates the story about the ninjas. Everything that she does is calculated. Too bad for her, that she wasn't as calculated in the murder of Travis and left so much evidence behind.

Maybe you've seen her on TV every night talking (more like cheerleading) about the trial. How about on Facebook posting pictures? Surely you've seen her pictures with Juan Martinez in hero worship mode, now that it has become controversial.

What if her (and other people's) behavior with The Prosecutor caused an appeal or a mistrial? That would be awful for everyone.

I realized something during the forced break. I was sorting some sewing supplies, and came across some "decorative rope" (the same kind Stabby says they used for their bondage games on June 4th). That stuff is a pain in the ass to work with, in part because it is very slippery, which would make it problematic for bondage. But even more important, it unravels like a mofo within moments of cutting it. Which is why when you buy it, they measure it out, then put a piece of masking tape around it at the spot to be cut, then cut across the tape wrap, leaving tape on the end of the piece you are buying and also on the length that stays on the reel. If you cut this stuff and skip the tape, the whole thing will untwist itself and unravel very quickly.
But Stabby never mentioned any tape. She just says they cut it with the big knife from the kitchen. Stabby does not say "and then it all unraveled, and it made working with it really difficult". But it would have. Really. No way around that without tape.
I realize this is a small detail, but I actually think it proves the whole rope story is made up.

I work with this type of rope/piping /trim everyday.If you cut it and tie a simple square knot it will fray to the knot and stop.This wasn't a dominatric type of scene it was a fun light hearted yea oh I'm tied up and can get out scene.He didn't hog tie her...... if he tied her at all.

I think Katie will land a job on TV of some sorts. You need to remember about her dress code. She knows the camera will be on her, she has the gift to talk, and when you think about it, she's actually interviewing for a job on TV with the exposure she's getting. So, like any prestigeous job, you must dress the part for an interview.

I think Travis knew Mimi led the type of spiritual life that he aspired to, and that he wanted in a wife. He was dating "above himself spiritually", at least at that time. Travis may have quizzed her about what she didn't see in him that she wanted in a mate. Or he may have asked Mimi for her input on how to become a Mormon man like that. Or perhaps he just wanted to experience some time with a good Mormon girl. We'll never know, because he never got to go on that trip.
Also in my world, at least, some people I know have fallen in love & married after a few first ho-hum dates.

Some things I've learned -- from an adoptive daughter who was baptized Mormon ~5 years ago -- to understand about Mormans & dating generally: they tend to quickly decide if someone is right for them or not, if you're moving to 5 or six one-on-one dates decision time is here, holding hands a lot & kissing pretty much means you are exclusive, once exclusive engagement should be around the corner as adult Mormons are to date with an eye on marriage. It is generally suggested you do no passionate kissing, no horizontal kissing, no "grinding, no touching of your partner's sacred parts, etc. Pretty sure each breaks the law of chastity. As you may guess, Mormon couples tend to get engaged and married much more quickly than many of us experience.
Now these are things I've learned through her dating experience and what has been relayed to me -- I in no way mean to offend or misrepresent Mormons or their doctrine. It's just generally and very briefly what I've come to know from her.
In my experience, it does not like to stay tied, even in a square knot, because it is so slippery. But frankly, even if that was enough to reduce the fraying, it seems like the sort of detail Stabby would have mentioned, if there really was a rope. Think about the level of detail she adds to her descriptions... enough for her to drone on for 19 days. She even said what color the rope was (green and gold). But she didn't bother saying that the rope frayed badly when cut, and they had to do something to try and alleviate the fraying? That doesn't sound like Stabby to me.

Flores is a no-bullshit kind of guy. He saw right through the whole situation with their relationship. Part 2 of the interrogation really breaks it down, and explodes the Travis = Goldenboy myth.

The more I listen to these tapes the more I freak out about that little Mormon community of gossip and control. You can just ask a Bishop to tell you the private confessions of another church member? Certain church members who look at themselves as powerful "den mothers" (I won't name any names) get to tell people who they can date, what is good for them, all under the threat of business relationships? Talk about an unhealthy environment.

I totally tuned the "brat" part out the first time around. Caught it the second time. Good grief! I'm laboring over these tapes like my life depended on it. Nearly lost my marbles the second go around- totally worth it tho! Pretty much sums everything up for me. Through all that BS, one tiny sliver of truth.
