She has no soul...but I do believe after she does her make-up, flips her hair...after the death call comes, strapped to that gurney, she'll feel something, anything at all.

After I read what I posted, I was like, shit she has no soul and forgot to add that most important part. I sure hope she gets to that gurney, I really do and I would only hope also that the Alexander family will be there to watch, just like Jodi watched Travis die, by her own hands.

How exciting is that to see her first hand in like, a normal situation, just grocery shopping. Just out of curiosity, what was she dressed like and how did she carry herself? Was she by herself? I know, such dumb questions but with such a high profiled case such as this, I think it's interesting and fun to know little details about Judge Sherry Stephens or anyone else involved in the Trial too

She wore a nice blue top with black pants and was buying fresh veggies with a gentleman. I've seen her there before in the past and at that time she caught me looking at her and she gave me a quick smile.

Spring 08- Jodi says on re-cross with Nurmi that this is when she found out about MiMi Hall and this is when he told Jodi he wanted to marry MiMi. Jodi said the last day on she was on the stand, that Travis also showed Jodi pictures of MiMi.

May 31, 08- EX 506 & 507- Jodi's bloody finger she cut at work, then took pictures with her cell.
May 2008- Jodi answers the jury questions and says this is when Travis hit on her car.


June 2008

June 08- Travis mentions to a friend that Jodi hacked his facebook account
June 2, 08- Jodi rents a car.
June 2, 08- Jodi says that her and Travis talked on the phone about a PPL member that passed away (Gordon Hinckley)
June 2- 3, 08- Jodi said she saw Matt in Sea Grove. She stayed the night with him and left the next morning.
June 3, 2008- Darryl said on the stand-Jodi came by his house, had breakfast, son was there, and that was 7am. Allowed Jodi to use his computer. Matt M showed up, and Jodi took off. After she took off that morning, she returned and gave him a remote control
Then all the murder stuff.

All I see when I read this is Jodi trying to push Travis for more. The poor guy was giving her attention, he was telling her he thought she was pretty and beautiful and made it obvious he was only thinking of her when he was in the nightclub. Yet obviously that wasn't enough.
I know i've mentioned this before, but she dyes her hair brown right after he starts taking Mimi out on dates, coincidence? Mirroring Mimi?

She must have felt quite powerful knowing Travis was willing to cheat on Lisa with her and I suspect she was trying this out around the time of Mimi too. Probably thought it would work every time. Except she went too far by prying into his facebook (or at least was caught doing it) and I think that is what pushed him to call her a sociopath.
She knew she was losing Travis bit by bit and if Travis did indeed change her name out for Mimi on the Cancun ticket then as had been said before. That was it, she lost it. I don't think killing him was months in the planning but I think she decided over a day or so that she had to do something. Stole the gun, hooked up all her alibis (ryan etc) and headed for Travis's.

I am listening to the unedited interrogation tapes and I swear this is on one of them (either lady detective or Flores asks if it was because he was taking Mimi to Cancun and she replied no, she didn't find out until after). I wish I knew what tape it was on, but I'm on 14 and not about to go back at this point.

Perhaps, Travis loved to hunt. Overly egotistical men do behave in this dramatic way when a woman they find attractive and want to have sex with, turns them down.

The problem I had with lady detective is that she kept mentioning Travis's parents. His mom and dad, and how did Jodi think they felt? Either she didn't know they were already deceased, or this was some interrogation tactic, but to me it looked like she didn't know what she was talking about.

Yeah, I knew she knew about Mimi, it has just always stuck in my head that she said she didn't find out about Mimi going to Cancun until the memorial for Travis. This has stuck in my head because I believed it to be complete BS. It is my personal theory that this was the reason Jodi "snapped" and killed Travis. She wanted to be the one to go to Cancun and tried to woo him into changing his mind with sex. Not to mention the fact that she admits (in the tapes at least) that Travis told her all about Mimi and thought Mimi was the one. Jodi was losing Travis and she wasn't having any of that.

I like your theory about Travis "using" Mimi to get Jodi to move the fuck on. I'm sorry that it may have backfired so horribly for him.

Not only a jailhouse celebrity but she now has worldwide fame and she knows it. She has access to cable TV (I know, only 2 channels, no CNN or HLN) but she can watch the local news and I'm sure the trial coverage is all over that. Remember her question to Flores just after he informed her she had been indicted for Murder 1, ""will this be on the news tonight?"
She has a place in history, in the pantheon of the goriest murderers ever, plus the satisfaction she got from the killing itself. Sure beats a dead end life of waitressing and living in a tiny room at the grandparents, in her mind at least.

I was re-watching some stuff over this weekend (yes I'm addicted too) and she answers a juror question saying that "bits and pieces" of what happened have come back...well, Dr. Samuels said her hippocampus (love that word) was flooded and therefore she has NO memories of the "event"...if thats true, then how can she say bits and pieces have come back? Also she tells the jury that she was still in a "fog" when she was kissing Ryan Burns, but then says she came out of her fog before crossing over the Hoover Dam and thats when she cleaned herself up.....
Her lies suck...she doesn't seem to realize she can't have it both ways

I remember ALV testifying that she ordered a subscription for "The Echo" for Jodie. So that's probably where she honed her symptoms. I hope this comes up.

How about on Facebook posting pictures? Surely you've seen her pictures with Juan Martinez in hero worship mode, now that it has become controversial.



Poor Katie didn't want any of this. When she gets all dressed up to go on tv and puts on more makeup than a rodeo clown, it's because of her "respect and admiration for Juan Martinez". Not because she wants the attention. Not at all.

Uggghhh Dr. Drew what a crazy day, I felt just shocked, just really surprised, that a photo that I had with juan martinez... and mind you the reason i came down to the trial in the first place is not for the sensationalism of it. It's because i've always had a passion for law, specifically criminal prosecution. And i have a lot of respect and admiration for Juan Martinez and the way that he prosecutes cases. and that's why i got the photo with him and to think of it being put out there like this, to convey something that's not fair and not true is just shocking to me and absolutely disappointing.

We've learned a lot about slick, pretty female liars seeking attentiont during this trial, haven't we? Ones that just sort of invite themselves to the party? Just saying. If you like law & criminal prosecution there are plenty of other trials to watch. Go and volunteer at your local prosectuor's office if you like criminal prosecution. Don't turn up at the only trial in lights wearing a fancy outfit on tv and pretend it's not about being Trial Superstar Junior.
