Based on the questions asked, there are a few on the jury that I have no doubt have it in for her, who aren't buying her or the DT's BS, who I doubt can be convinced to change their minds. Just throwing it out there, but I have a feeeling it will be 1st degree or a hung jury.

I'm convinced even if I have to take into consideration that killing Travis was only one of a number of crazy fantasy scenarios Jodi Arias developed, particularly during the period May 26 - June 4, 2008. Killing Travis wasn't her principal objective in going to see him--obviously she went there in pursuit of her principal objective--to somehow re-engineer Travis to obsess on her the same way she obsessed on him. As much as she couldn't stand the thought of not being the one and only in Travis's life, she couldn't bear the thought that some other woman/person could be. The whole sub-text of her complaints to him about not acknowledging her to his friends and associates as his 'special friend' and for not publicly proclaiming what she did for him has been subsumed within the mountain of other proof of motive, but it pretty well settles it for me. Jodi Arias could not stand the agony brought on by the thought of living without Travis Alexander, but, more than that, she could not stand the torment of Travis living on, happily, without her. That's a powerful force behind all of her stalking antics. It's a theme that has been offered in Literature/Drama, (See the 19th. century Swedish Playwright August Strindberg) as a reason for people fighting to remain together through long and desperately unhappy marriages. As much as some people hate being with their husband/wife, they hate even more the thought of the object of their hatred being happy apart from them.... :

I particularly like the reference to literature that 'Ian 1' includes in a detailed post. It is plausible that her principle objective may have been to win him over - one last desperate bid to make him see sense and love her. Maybe she wanted to force him at gunpoint to listen to her pleas? That may have been her fantasy outcome but her planning shows an intention to murder him. Her practical preparations show that she knew deep down that her fantasy objective would not work. Her realistic primary objective was to kill him and cover up the murder. It was a premeditated killing. The only way Travis would have been spared is if he had a miraculous change of heart about Arias. Her rage and murderous anger could not be contained as she feared he was about to become serious with another woman.

There is something very wrong with Arias. As quite a few people here have observed, if she had simply told the truth, instead of trying to cover motive to protect herself, it would have at least been honest. Driven to the edge of despair and desperation by an obsessive love is a madness that at least can be defined as human. It would not have excused slaughtering another human being but she wouldn't have been lying about why, simply to save her own skin. Instead, she has simply emphasised how monstrous she is.
