Lesson learned - don't turn the trial into a drinking game when you're not a seasoned drinker. Under estimated my bottle of ouzo.

Sometimes I can't help but to read the wackos over on the JAII site. They are concerned because Nurmi has decided not to wear some ugly-ass tie today.

Some insight on the JAII site's thinking on the jury questions.

This will be a good opportunity for the Dr. to really get back in good with the jurors, I hope. He explains thing very well.

Not really. He admitted he made a lot of mistakes and that perhaps he should have readministered the tests. Maybe he has a "fog"? Maybe JM makes him shake?

He sure does. And after listening to the jurors questions we can tell what they are actually thinking about him, although if they are bright enough to see beneath Martinez’s stupid tactics there will be no problem with the questions I think.

Right, because NO WAY are any of his flailings on cross examination a result of his own incompetence

In other words, their question might have already been answered by the time JW’s redirect was complete. It would be much better if the jury could hold on to their questions until after the direct, cross, and re-direct testimony were complete before putting them in the basket. That way we would only hear the questions that the jurors still feel need clarification or feel were unanswered. Of course, the talking heads will jump on anything and pretend to not know how this is all working and claim any question even slightly negative or unsure is a win for JM. :-/

Only the jurors themselves know whether or not anything was needed clarification or if they feel anything was unanswered, that's why they are "juror" questions

There is good cause to believe that the DT collaborated in the authorship of 'the story' and they did it because it would enhance their celebrity.

Going over every question on the test... Are u kidding. This is so boring and useless. Why are they so focused on the PTSD that she doesn't have. Even if she did it means nothing about it being premeditated or the fact that she brutally murdered him. That's what they should be focusing on. They're turning this into way more of a s**** show then it already is

The juror questions might tell us if they buy into the dissociative amnesia. Gotta remember the jury doesn't have access to psychology or psychiatry websites that critique dr. Samuels. Allegedly the majority of the jurors aren't buying anything arias. (I lost the reference post, sorry)

It was nice of Willmott to respond to her but I guess you had hear this young girl, she actually believes Stabby and has bought into her TA was a pedo/abuser/she had no control/self defense bullshit that JW spouted in her opener. I guess that's what I meant by UGH but I have Transient Global Amnesia so I can't be sure.

It was fascinating watching Juan dismantle doctor samuels. It was even more enjoyable watching what he did to Willmott with his objection assault on her concentration. She almost lost it several times. Juan is such a professional.

Not necessarily. The DT is required to zealously promote their clients version of the facts. It is entirely possible (in my opinion likely) that Stabby came up with everything on her own.

Just compare Martinez' honest, direct, challenges to the defense witnesses testimony, and the DT's slimy inferences they gratuitously toss in as asides before they can be shut down by an objection. Wilmott's inference that Travis Alexander committed a criminal sexual offence on the body of Jodi Ann Arias set a new level of low.

Her PTSD according him occurred AFTER the murder, he said basically NOTHING about any alleged abuse by her parents, former boy friends, etc that Willmott spouted in her opener.

They would have been better off saving Tricky Dicky for mitigation before any sentencing. His testimony in no way helps her self defense claim.

Willmott way way oversold the defense in her opener.

I can't wait for any of the jurors to do interviews on what they were thinking throughout the trial

JM intentionally pisses ppl off...he has a number of ways to get under your skin or bite your ass. The DT had to know he would do this. I'm still wondering why they didn't better prepare dr. Samuels. This is not the first time all the characters have been examined by JM. Most like they were deposed during the pre-trial evidentiary hearing. How could they let him fuck up like this?

Wasn't the defense trying to prove her memory loss or something? I thought that wass what it was all about. PTSD regardless of what actually happened, is entirely possible. Not that I believe she is suffering from it, but I think their point was to verify that is why she cant explain more in detail about the killing.

Karma is only a bitch if you are!

Now, don't mistake this for empathy.....because I feel NONE for Jodi. But, they just had the camera on her mom and aunt....and they were giggling and smiling about something. Then the camera pans to Jodi, and she is staring, glumly, straight ahead. I can see how she might have self-esteem issues.....this family is so fractured and dysfunctional and plain ol' fucked up. Wow!
