Crazy - I just looked and that was the year AZ was riddled with more wildfires than normal. (and Normal is a LOT ... Lol) Wonder if one was set by her? I only remember because I was living in NM and I remember we were getting bombarded by smoke from all of the fires...

Don't forget the murderer turned her license plate upside down and removed the front plate on the car. She asked Det Flores in the interview "can't you just look at red light cameras to see if you spot my license plate?"
Se said that because of there being a lot of red light and speeding cameras in Mesa, Az. I know cuz I got a ticket once. She turned her own damn plates in order to avoid camera detection.

The license plate thing is intriguing to me. I think she really did it b/c as you say, it was one of the things she brought up to Flores in the interview as part of her 'I wasn't there!' story. But driving around with an upside down license plate is just asking to be pulled over by the police (as happened to her in Utah.) Plus if the car had been caught by a red light camera wouldn't it have been easy to read the license plate # by turning the photo around? Also, a car parked on the street in Travis's neighborhood with an upside down license plate would have stood out to passersby, I would think.

Jodi thinks she is smarter than everyone else. Not to mention, checking every red light camera in Arizona, along the presumed route would've been time-consuming and difficult.

I think that not being caught by the red light/speeding cameras was part of Stabby's grand plan. I think Stabby researched a route to Travis' house that would AVOID all the intersections with cameras. This was just one more facet of her "no evidence of presence in AZ" plan. I bet she saw TV shows where perps were caught when the police searched through similar photos. I believe she even thought that the very absence of photos would be important "proof" that she was not there. Why else would she ASK Det Flores about it? She knew she would not be on the cameras (even though she obviously was in Mesa). If she had driven a normal, main drag route to Travis' house, then she possibly would show on the cameras.

Personally, I think she did have at least one plate on the car when she was in AZ, except for when she was at Travis'. I think she might have removed the plate then (to try and eliminate any possible proof she was in the neighborhood). She then put the plate back on after she left Travis', but in her haste, she put it on upside down. As to a neighbor seeing a car with no plate and being suspicious, considering she would only be there a matter of hours, she probably considered it a risk worth taking. Even if a neighbor did notice, it seems unlikely they would be so suspicious as to call the police over it. So the worst case scenario would have been that a neighbor saw a white car with no license plate parked in the neighborhood.

I missed this morning 'cause I had to go to the eye clinic to get an injection into my left eye, (Lucentis). I do it once a month. Each costs $1700.00 which makes me grateful for having good Health Insurance. It sounds painful, but nothing compares with the pain we are suffering now. It's only 'cause you said 'opthamologist' that I brought it up. I won't suggest where I'd like to see somebody stick some kind of a needle into Wilmott and, of course, the big one into Jodi Arias.

Yes, we have been told Jodi had permission to enter Travis's house...by Jodi's own testimony...so, no, she didn't enter illegally. However, I'm not sure it matters. Her intent during the visit was murder. We know this because she brought the gun and knife with her. I don't believe for one instance that she conveniently found a loaded gun and knife there in the bedroom. This was a planned murder because it happened so quickly. I imagine if this wasn't planned out, Travis would have overpowered Jodi...and there would have been more wounds on her than one or two small cuts AND the attack would have taken much longer than it did. In fact, if he had had a chance to properly fight back before any devastating wounds (like the stab wound to his heart, for instance), I imagine Jodi would have been the one dead, or at the very least, seriously wounded. She was able to overtake him only because she planned out the attack, and surprised him with it.

As for your hypothetical, I don't believe it would have been a robbery without a weapon. Have you had a chance to read the Arizona laws on felony murder? I haven't. But, that might help in this instance.
