Wormi and Palin seem to be trading witnesses.... does this mean we get to look forward to dull Wormi questioning the crazy snow white chick?

Yes, Doc, it is important, because it could tell whether or not she was telling the truth! But of course, that wasn't important to you!

Explains what covered, etc. Interesting reading.
Did Tricky Dick just say something about Stabby's "perceived gap of Stabby's and TA's financial/social standing in the community"?
Talk about motive!
Where the hell did this woman go to Law School? They should consider repossessing her degree!

Mama Arias looks none too happy. Maybe she didn't get the book offer.
So far I don't think we've heard anything new that wasn't covered yesterday on re-direct. Get on with it Willmott!
Jodi knows about as much about Mormonism as I do, which is pretty much nothing. I had to scoff last night when one of the talking heads said that Jodi converted just before she met Travis. No, she converted after she met him, and she did so in order to try and land him. He was looking for a Mormon girl to marry, she needed to be Mormon.
Jodi thinks she is smarter than everyone else. Not to mention, checking every red light camera in Arizona, along the presumed route would've been time-consuming and difficult.
Exactly. Her actions prior to the murder do show she had intent to commit a crime. But, in Loonywop's defense I will say that he/she is saying that Jodi had no specific intent to commit burglary. That much is possibly true, but we don't know for fact. We know she went there knowing that she, at the very least, might kill him. She certainly could have intended -- and maybe she did -- take some things from the house as "souvenirs", which would reinforce burglary.
One of Jodi's claims made about discovery the "pedo stuff" is she went into his house to retrieve some angel statue he allegedly gave her. It's certainly possible that she thought there were other things she could take from the house, since Travis didn't need them because he would be dead. She could've intended to, or actually taken, money from his wallet, or some kind of trinkets, etc.
In watching today, did I really just hear Doc say that while HE could've beat the test, Jodi and the average person couldn't have? Are you kidding me? It's a Yes/No answer. All you have to do is look at it and read something like "have you ever suffered a trauma.. blah blah blah". If you want to appear traumatized, you check YES. This is not rocket science by any means.
Oh and Doc is going back and lying again. Yesterday he said wrists and ankles tied. Today he's saying that his notes (now) say just her wrists were tied. Defense needs to call it a day with this witness. They fucked up. I am beyond bored with this, I can't imagine the jury isn't as well

This tool keeps on talking about how these tests are difficult to manipulate....AND that there are elements which help to detect when someone is being untruthful??! Really, now, Doc!? Isn't it true that everything Jodi has said is a frickin' lie? And what you are saying is that you could not detect it? Obviously, either something is very wrong with this test, the Doctor is not very good at interpreting them, or this is all just plain CRAP. He is full of s**t!
Okay, this is beyond redundant. This is redundant to what was already made redundant by Willmott. Ms. Teendream, you have ALREADY re-crossed on all of that. Time to say, "no more your honor" and SIT DOWN!!
Jodi's yellow notebook that she has been madly writing in seems to be missing today. I wonder if she passed it onto her lover, Maria, or if it has been confiscated! Dun, dun, dunnnnn.
(Probably nothing, but I like imagining it means something.)

She really is terrible. Whenever an objection gets sustained, she gets all flustered and tries to reword it. Earlier, she kind of whined and looked at the judge, like she would help her. Then she says "may we approach". Her demeanor when she questions and the little comments she makes in between questions doesn't instill confidence in me as an observer. Thankfully, I'll never have need of her services, as I don't plan on stabbing and shooting my husband in this lifetime.
ETA: LOL...I misspelled "stabbing", one of the words suggested by autocorrect was "stabby".![]()

If those tests are so hard to fake... how did Jodi manage to fake the ones about the ninjas?
Karma is only a bitch if you are!
Try putting the word 'devil' in the place where you have used the word 'sociopath.' That opens us up to the unfashionable thought that there is pure evil in this world and it walks amongst us. Like coconut said, all the brain scientists, all the detailed analysis of brain chemistry, etc., etc., don't provide the answers. We still grapple with the mystery. How do we grasp an understanding of what is a 'Jodi Arias.' Great thinkers and great writers have struggled with that for centuries. Read Andrew Pyper, "The Demonologist." He's the latest I know of.

We'll be lucky to hear juror questions today at this rate. We have at least another 1-2 days of this quck yet between juror questions and the follow up questions by either side.
Here is what State of Arizona considers "billable time" by Nurmi and Wilmmot
Billable Time
– time spent for the benefit of the Client which substantially advances the
case toward conclusion. Billable time may include court time, legal research, interviews
of the Client and witnesses, and other work required to effectively represent the Client.
Billable time does not include, for example, the following:
1.
non-substantive motions such as motions to continue, motions to withdraw or
time spent reviewing a file prior to moving to withdraw;
2.
support services or overhead items that are compensated through Contractor’s
Contract Rate including such things as secretarial services, typing, leaving
messages, transmitting documents by facsimile, mailing letters and photo
copying; or
3.
activity that does not substantially advance the Client’s case such as unanswered
telephone calls, leaving messages, or setting up meetings or conferences.
