I have to do some more in-depth research on your claim as to "murder while in commission of another felony" she did not go there to steal or burglerize the house for the gun therefore after the fact her taking the gun would be theft ....after the fact yes although still a felony I would think he would have to prove Travis then in fact owned a gun to be taken. Nothing else was taken .

Now, I'm sure that would be frowned upon by the law, and it might even be illegal, but are either Nurmi or Wilmott above that? Nurmi conspired with Doc to create a phony PTSD defense for Jodi (Doc said they came up with it), would he really be above passing notes? And so long as he (or Wilmott) didn't do it right outside the court room, would anyone else be watching that closely?

Also with regards to First Degree Murder. Remember there are special circumstances, such as murder while in the commission of another felony. That's why the gun works either way. If Martinez can't prove it came from Jodi's grandparents' house, and she claims it came from Travis' house AND she took it with her (which is what she said), then that is a felony. Taking the gun that she claims was Travis' satisfied the "murder while in commission of another felony" and makes the case eligible for First Degree. He doesn't have to prove she brought the gun to claim that.

This whole case has gotten to us all. Our bashing to some degree is our frustration with all that has transpired. First and foremost the brutal unnecessary death of a young man though flawed had much to offer the world. JA could be anyone's daughter. None of us could ever know what happened to make this woman into the monster that committed this crime. We can all hate her for what she has done. We can hate on her attorneys who are fighting to keep her from being put to death. Though we all can agree the tactics they are using are extremely horrendous, they are doing their job that they are being paid for. Calling it their job still doesn't make what they are doing right but they are doing it just the same. I think JM is phenomenal. I would hope that if something ever tragically happened to me or my loved ones I would have someone that shows such a passion for seeking justice as JM does. I think what deeply offends us all when watching these proceedings is the flippant attitude that JA and some of her family members show. It is disrespectful. Then you look at the Alexander family who suffered throughout their lives. They seem like nice ppl. They could be me and my family. We all are fortunate that in this case we are all just spectators and not directly involved. As hard as it is to accept, what will be will be. No amount of yelling at the screen is going to change the outcome. All we can do is hope for justice.

YES Yes yes... and they were marked as exhibit 547 (after JM had no further ?'s & Willmott began recross) ... JM asked what Doc Dick was reading they be marked & Willmott did, and Doc Dick wrote on the C paper in his ring binder that was then taken out of the ring by Doc & marked as exht... how friggin fraudulent is that?
We still have to find the part where Sneakers saw Doc Dick put exhibit in his briefcase

I may be looking at this too hypersensitively, but does it look to anyone else like the judge is flashing a note to the therapist at the beginning? If so, maybe she's just saying hi if she knows him, but it caught my attention...? She writes something, underlines it, keeps looking over to him, then she leans down & her head goes behind computer for a quick second. Probably nothing; just something I noticed...

All I have is just "wow!" I have normally read every single comment on this page but after two day of missing could not do it...I have some very "real" sick peepes at work that took president. I rep each and one of you all for either good or bad. I never ask...but if some could post the last two days of the youtube I would be most apprecitative.

I don't believe that Martinez has to prove Jodi stole the gun from Travis. She said she did. That is proof enough, a confession. It would generally be a moot point as we know that the gun did not belong to Travis and that Jodi brought it with her, but she's trapped herself by copping to burglary in hopes of avoiding premeditation.

I know clients are allowed to keep/take notes during their trial. I've seen Jodi write stuff down, show it to Palin, then Palin objects. There is no doubt in my mind that Jodi is the captain of her case. I've seen Jodi write stuff down, and Palin looks it over and copies some of the stuff. One thing prisoners have full access to is....a law library. One thing a prisoner has that most of us don't.....time. My brother just got his GED, but he can fire off any case law or knowledge about most stuff in the law books. He knows all the rules and limits in the jail system too. Don't be fooled, jail makes smart criminals.

Hey Batman. Would love to know your opinion of the dr. that is on the stand.

I think she has moments where she is very good. She's a likeable person to me. I think she is much more passionate about this case than Nurmi is. I also think she puts up a better fight than Nurmi with JM.
Then she has moments where she seems like an airhead. It may or may not be an act.

Today: as it stands, the state still has not proven premeditation and the defense has not proven that Jodi suffered some mental problem during the murder. Actually, I think they have proven just a rage killing. IMO. These opinions of mine may change as the trial moves on.

Most likely he can skate on his credentials and knows the literature back and forth with the areas he is comfortable with, but malingering, deception and murder are not his area. In the crimes and criminals he typically deals with there are victims he can interview, so he doesn't have to determine lies. I know this will get me in hot water with the MDS community, but I feel sorry for him. I'm betting he will never do another case like this again.

I am not surprised that she is taking something. Her blunted affect and lack of any anxiety is indicative of someone taking something. JMHO.
I can't find more of his history, but I'm guessing he was helping cops and servicemen with their PTSD disability claims. I think he wanted to present his slide show and go home. I don't feel sorry for him because he should have got his s**t together before getting on the stand in a
    capital murder case.

About Jodi taking pills, Sheriff Joe has a stiff fine for anyone outside of his office giving her any food. I hope her Mom didn't slip her an aspirin. Not really.

What would your professional opinion be with just general observation? Do you have a read on JA's mom. Isn't it true some personality disorders are genetic? I just find mother's behavior is odd considering the situation.

If you go into a store with no plans of shoplifting but see something that catches your eye and you then decide to steal it, you won't get away with it by simply telling the judge "Your honor, it wasn't commercial burglary because I didn't plan on taking anything when I entered the store. It's simply theft after the fact!"

Juan Martinez made it a strong point that she clearly admitted taking this alleged gun, which was not hers, out of Travis Alexander's home.
Ma'am, what is hard to explain about a person breathing or not breathing? what is so difficult? why is that a difficult concept for you?

Hey Berm... I need to watch his testimony and what I have read from you all....his testimony is for crap! At first when I heard about his ethical violations I was kinda like..meh... in that business it is almost expected. I have very heavy liability insurance for those cases. He lied when he said he didn't know the rules about "bartering!" That is called a dual relationship and highly frowned upon. As far as all the testing bs...GOOD LORD....you do not transcribe answers!! Like I said have not watched the testimony for the past two day but everyone here provided lots of very good information.

When ya'll mentioned he was just "reading" from the DSM IV TR I bout shit my pants!!! Granted all psych professionals specalize....most of us don't have to read from the DSM! That bothered me a lot!! When I have to go to court I don't do a doodle to prove my point...normally I don't have visual aides at all!!

From what I read here and being unable to watch the testimony yet...WTF??? We all know she killed him...what I am getting worried about is her DT!!! They are frikikn morons....inadequate defense....???
