That is exactly the point. He is supposed to provide an NON-BIASED evaluation. He is not treating her. Showing he cares proves that he is biased. If he really cared he could send her the dumb book after the trial. Or, I don't know, maybe tell the jail that she was suicidal.
I can't imagine why anyone would want him to testify. A. He is not even a doctor. B. He has ethic and boundary issues with clients. C. He comes to court completely unprepared. D. He lies. (caught lying many times actually.) E. He bumbles around on the stand with all of his binders, making him look unprofessional.
I LOVE that Martinez brought this out. I thought he was a real doctor. Now we ALL know he is not.

With each "witness" that the defense team puts on the stand, I'm reminded of just how guilty she is. This is one situation that big-mouthed Jodi just can't seem to talk and charm her way out of. I'm loving it.
