Legally, it's completely out of bounds when it comes to what he is supposed to do. Especially since she was suicidal in addition to her not being his patient. This guy has no credibility and his testimony should be stricken from the record.

Exactly. If they are a threat to themselves or others, then the patient/doctor confidentiality is not as stringent.

I think the reason why JM seems so agitated and kind of makes a big deal about stuff is because it's frustrating to him to have to ask the same question a million times and these people aren't giving him a straight answer. So a simple answer ends up turning into a 20 minute discussion. Shades of Jodi.

IF in September 2008 JA interviewed w/ "48 Hours" & stated ?No jury will convict me, mark my words, no jury will convict me, because I?m innocent.? & wants us to believe she was prepared to kill herself.
And met w/ Doc Samuels in 2009 & Doc stated that early on when he 1st met her, he knew she was a "suicidal risk"
(when testifying about the Clinical manual for Management of PTSD referring to C7 Sense of Foreshortened Future)
Wouldn't it be his obligation to alert the jail where she was housed, immediately at that point?
Do we know of any such incident that the warden or anybody else for that matter was alerted?

But Coconut, you just pointed out the exact problem!! He is not supposed to CARE, he is supposed to be an impartial witness. He can not CARE about her or his testimony has a bias. THAT is the problem.
