Im sure this has been brought up.

    Premeditation.

So she steals the gun from her grandparents right? So why would she stab him first?
And affirmative action is a very nice term for racial discrimination against better-qualified white people in jobs, employment, promotions and scholarships, and college admittance.

Has this been put up here? I hadn't seen it if it has I will delete it.

Eighteen Arizona citizens have spent more than two months listening to witnesses, looking at evidence and asking Jodi Arias questions about the slaying of Travis Alexander. And it's not over yet.

But, only 12 of them will ultimately decide on Arias' fate.

Read more: Does Arias suffer from PTSD?

After closing arguments, six of the jurors will find out they are alternate jurors. They will listen to jury instructions and then watch the 12 official jurors head to the jury room to begin deliberations.

Watch: Expert: Gun Jodi used jammed

The alternate jurors will not be released from service at this time. During deliberations, if any one of the 12 jurors are released for any reason, an alternate juror would be called back and deliberations would begin again.

The Arias jury has been closely watched by the gallery and Arias herself. During Arias' testimony, she often answered questions while looking directly at the jury.

Here is what our HLN and In Session producers have noticed about the jury. The following descriptions are intended to give a snapshot of each juror's reaction to Arias' testimony:

    Juror No. 1

She is a white female in her 60s and sits closest to the witness stand. She doesn't look at Arias often during her testimony. People in the gallery observed her yawning once during an emotional part of Arias' testimony.

    Juror No. 2

He is a white male in his 50s. He takes few notes and usually has his head cupped in his hands as he listens to testimony.

    Juror No. 3

She is a white female in her 40s. She takes a lot of notes and often watches prosecutor Juan Martinez as he moves around the courtroom. She has been seen submitting questions.

    Juror No. 4

He is a white male in his 60s, and he takes few notes.

    Juror No. 5

She is a married, white female in her 30s. She sits on the edge of her seat and is the most visible juror from the gallery because she has a “unique hair style.”

    Juror No. 6

She is a white female in her 60s and is also seen taking many notes.

    Juror No. 7

He is a white male in his 30s, and he is married. He takes notes and often bites his nails.

    Juror No. 8

He is a white male in his 50s and is married. He also takes notes and has been observed submitting questions.

    Juror No. 9

He is a white male in his 60s. He wears denim on most days and sits at the end of the jury box. He sits close to the first row of the gallery where Alexander's family sits.

    Juror No. 10

He is a white male in his 70s and is married. He has a tattoo on his right arm. He rarely is seen taking notes. He sits the furthest away from the witness.

    Juror No. 11

She is a married, white female in her 30s. She takes a lot of notes. She does not look at Arias during testimony. She tends to look straight ahead or down at her notes.

    Juror No. 12

She is a white female in her 40s and also takes lots of notes. She swiveled her chair toward Arias during her testimony.

    Juror No. 13

He is a white male in his late 60s to early 70s. He wears an audio-enhancing headset provided by the court. He does takes notes.

    Juror No. 14

He is a white male in his early 60s who often swivels in his chair. He does not appear to be taking notes.

    Juror No. 15

He is a white male in his late 20s or early 30s. He appears to be the youngest member of the jury and takes very few notes. He smiled when Martinez asked Arias if she could predict the future.

    Juror No. 16

He is a white male in his 40s.

    Juror No. 17

He is a Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s. He dresses casually and sometimes slouches so far down in his chair that he is hardly visible to the gallery. He does not appear to be taking notes.

    Juror No. 18

She is a white female in her 40s. She is an occasional note taker and she often looks at the gallery during sidebars.

I'm still thinking she wanted to make it look like two people were involved in his death. I think that is why she eventually went with her two ninja story once she realized "I wasn't there that night" wasn't going to fly. She screwed up by leaving too much evidence behind. She probably figured that there was no way anyone would just assume ONE woman by herself could do all of that damage, especially with two different weapons. Pretty sure she would have still been the top suspect though, even if she had done a better job cleaning up.

Sure am glad I'm not the liar Matt sitting in a big pile of shit!

I missed the story on that. Was he lying about the magazine thing?
I think his specific involvement is with the pedo allegations against Travis. Apparently Jodi Arias tried to get Matt to confirm her claim/statements that she told Matt about the 'incident' shortly after she alleged she witnessed the scene where she walked in on Travis and the picture of the young boy, etc. Apparently, Matt subsequently gave a statement that materially contradicted what Jodi Arias had been claiming in her statements and was counting of Matt to back up. Matt is also involved in the phony pedo letters--the ones that were thrown out in the hearing where Jodi Arias was acting as her own lawyer. The messages in the magazine were an effort to try to get him to come visit Jodi Arias in jail so that she could coach him on what lies he should tell in order to co-ordinate their stories. The magazine messages were caught by the guards before they could be smuggled out of the jail. Obviously, Matt never got them and nothing much has been heard of/from him since.

I think that's right. If someone has sorted it out better than that, please post. The whole episode is kind of murky.

Are there copies of these fake letters? Curious to see them. I'm guessing they were OBVIOUS fakes that didn't stand a chance.

There are no originals. The outlandish claim by Jodi Arias is that she received them 'electronically.' Matt is suspected of being the forger/transmitter. Wait 'till some other people come on the thread. I think Wasthinking or maybe Sneaker will probably know more details or be able to direct you to a good source.

If I read your post wrong, I apologize, but it seemed you were saying the jury was already somehow determining DP at this time and the 3 gas cans wasn't enough. No, they're not, but my point is they are not determining DP at all yet. I agree with you that JM needs to focus more on premeditation to reach 1st Degree. However, there is also Felony Murder to consider. That is also 1st Degree.

Overall, I'd like to hear more about a motive. Why did she want him dead? Was he an obsession? Was it the last set of text messages/emails? If so, JM should put it together for us. Premeditation will be easier to follow at that time. He needs to be able to bring in the stalking, tire slashing, weird behavior, etc. I am worried because I haven't seen any of this. We can assume a motive, but I really would love to hear more evidence and testimony that supports her obsession with Travis.

As someone already posted, premeditation can be formed in an instant. According to JA's story, she shot him (accidentally), and the stabbing was after that. If a Juror is inclined to believe her story, TA was no longer threat after gunshot. There goes self-defense, so there is certainly premeditation for the stabbing. Unlikely Jury will believe story, but even if 1 does, the Jury Instructions will make it crystal clear, and Juan will tie this up in closing. So if they are not convinced of all the evidence of premeditation (gun, gas cans, etc.) she will still be convicted of 1st degree.

It's been reported that if Matt took the stand and testified about the fake letters then Juan would charge him perjury immediately as he left the stand, that's what I heard anyway.

Does anyone know if the police report of what was found in her car after being arrested was ever released?

Listened to her phone interview with Flores again - chilling. Lots of inconsistencies with her testimony, but caught 1 that is sticking in my mind. During all the back & forth during her initial cross about shaving photo, Stabby claims she took the pic. TA liked it, posted on his FB or MS profile page. During phone interview with Flores she states that TA took the picture himself. Inconsequential I know, but just 1 more inconsistency. Did anyone else pick up on that?

Have question about what was actually admitted into evidence. Phone interview with Flores, text from TA calling her Sociopath, the 2 interrogation videos, jailhouse interviews. Will jury have access to those in deliberations?

    BREAKING NEWS!!

i believe I am in communication with life forms residing in outer space. On March 17, 2013, I received the following message in my 'Reps' box. It is highlighted with a red (as opposed to a green), rectangle immediately to the left of the message. It reads as follows:

"sidoj terces si sreh" (Yes! That is exactly how it reads.)

The message appears to be in reference to the comments in my post # 42002, regarding 'The Law of Attraction' that I put up on March 9, 2013. The only other clue I have as to the origin/domicile of the sender is the word(s) VioletPlanet which appears immediately to the right of the message. Besides English, I know only Klingon and Albanian. The message does not appear to be in either of these languages. Can anyone translate? I have also checked with my astronomer friends and they do not recognize the source as any known place in our solar system. They can only speculate that the message was dispatched from some very distant galaxy--where this 'Law of Attraction" perhaps originated and prevails--and that is why it took eight days to reach me. Is the sender trying to 'Attract' me in accordance with the 'Law?' Are there others on this thread who have been so blessed? What to do???

Check May 26, 2008. The Yreka burglary came two days later. I hope I'm not misleading you.

I found this interesting clip on YouTube, interesting watch.

I read the comments on the JAII site, I find it amusing that they were the ones who found the documentation about Travis's supposed criminal history, even went as far as contacting Nurmi from what I have read, but once it had been found that it was Dennis Alexander, supporters then started blaming Riverside Police Department for the documentation being available all these years later!!

I do try and keep up with the posts, not sure if this has been raised before, regarding the suicide letters... she supposedly wrote them while she was in prison and sent them to her grandmother, they would have been read by prison guards and action would have been taken, would it not? She clearly said on the stand that if she had of mentioned the reason why she wouldn't be found guilty during the 48 hours interview was because she didn't expect to be alive, she would have been taken away to a padded cell!

So this fairy story the defense has whupped up really doesn't help her in the grand scheme of things. She ran in the closet, flew up to the shelf where the gun was hiding then pointed it at TA, whether she meant for it to go off or not. She took the time to go get the gun and point it at him, knowing it was possibly loaded. Sounds like premeditation to me..:-)
