One of the most interesting notes for Ramirez is he was actually caught by common every day people. They beat the shit out of him before the cops arrived.
He was a Arias ego, just like her. Same as you see in Manson, Dennis Radar and many others. They love to think about themselves and hear themselves talk, thought they were smarter than everyone else and the most common ground ... want fame. Arias is in her glory. They don't care that it is a 'bad' fame, they simply seek the attention, notoriety. Don't be surprised if she is convicted and waves like a float queen or tries to laugh and do another headstand.
I too agree with it being fake, but for some reason I wouldn't put it past her at all.
The ME said that the brain injury would (or probably would) have been fatal.
Even if it would not have been, I found something in an article I found very interesting:
Because these [penetrating brain] injuries often leave a victim fully conscious during and immediately after, many will retain vivid memories of the horror and suffer flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety and withdrawal, the hallmarks of post-traumatic stress disorder.
Game over, Stabby. The attempt to mitigate the idea that Travis didn't suffer from the stabbing because she shot him in the head first is false. Whatever order of events, the last two minutes of Travis's life were agonizing, painful, and terrifying.

Yes, but the style is very similar, just a different colored handle.
Here is a set with a black handle:

That guy was creepy as hell...just looking at him gives me chills. Yet, this whacko (like Jodi and many other murderers) had women claiming he was sweet and innocent and they wanted to marry him. These groupies that follow these people have some serious mental health issues of their own! Yikes!
Just trying to catch back up. I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere along the line but I haven't seen it. Does anybody have any theories about why Jodi dragged Travis's body back and stuffed him in the shower? I'm sure Jodi has forgotten what happened - all that being in THE FOG - but does anyone here have any good guesses?

I watched the ME testimony at lease 3 times and he was fairly precise with his findings. Most times, when asked what type of weapon caused the wounds, he would say it was a sharp edged instrument. He really could not give much more detail then that. Some of the knife paths that were under Travis's skin on his chest measured over 5 inches. I don't recall that he claimed any of the wounds were made by a serrated blade, which would cause a more jagged wound. When JM talked about the edges of the neck wound appearing uneven or scalloped, the ME said that the wound was actually a very straight clean cut.....it's edges looked the way they did because the skin was drying and pulling back. Decomposition was moderate by the time he was found.

JVM and NG had that drawing on the show a while ago, in Feb. They were talking about Alice Laviolette writing an article or some crap about Snow White being a battered woman. Jodi then draws a battered Snow White. IDK what JVM said about the symbols but I tweeted them that one of them was an inverted pentagram, and it has nothing to do with Mormonism.
Good question Annie, I had completely forgotten about that... or was I in a fog during his testimony?
Do you remember if you forget something in a fog-related incident?
I will just add that to the list of the other questions that will NEVER be friggin' answered with any kind of even remotely satisfactory answer. SOOO damned frustrating!
Sorry for the double post, my multi-quote went all a-wonk on me
It's funny cuz it's true. that's pretty much how every "answer" of her's is! it's crazy. I have never heard anyone turn simple "yes" or "no" answers into such long, drawn-out stories - with ever changing endings.
THIS. I agree, this is the answer to Khile's question, I believe.
Specially the second part. really... how DARE he? Doesn't he know how much trouble she had to go thru just to get him INTO the shower... and then he goes and gets back OUT? The nerve of some people, they just can't do what they are told! Jeez.
[kidding, obviously - just in case someone takes that seriously, lol]
Yep. She not only had to get him in the shower, she also had to convince him to do the "Calvin Kline model" posing, culminating with the pose of him sitting down in the shower.
I honestly think this was ALL part of her plan. This was her way of getting the advantage over him. If she started her attack when he was SEATED in that tiny shower, it would give her a significant advantage, and make her more powerful despite her smaller size and lesser strength. Pretty hard for poor Travis to leap to his feet quickly from that seated position in that tiny box even if he was not stabbed. But once he was stabbed, making it extra hard for him to get up.
If he had just died in that shower, as she had planned, without ever stepping out of it, the cleanup would have been a snap, and there is a good chance she would have gotten away with it.
Also, if he was seated in the shower in the position of the last pic, that could explain why several of the major stab wounds were clustered on the right side of his chest. That is the side that would have been easiest to stab with him seated in the shower and her leaning in to stab him.
I was going to ask that, if anyone knew which side was facing out - his left or his right - while he was seated in the shower. My brain still can't decide whether or not I think the gunshot came first, or last. In that last shot of him sitting, alive, was his right side out? That was the side he was shot in, correct? And would make the forehead-cheek trajectory about right, right?
Whoo... so many questions!
I also believe this to be true, for a while, anyway. He seems like he has the type of family and friends that would pursue this until justice was served -regardless of the amount of evidence they had it seems like they knew from the START who did it, at least... I think eventually they would have gotten justice. It would have boon long and hard, but they seem like strong people. the type that could pull that off.
I would like to believe so, anyway. I'd HATE to imagine that she could ever get away with doing something so unbelievably heinous!!
Do you think, that if her attack HAD gone as planned, that she would have INTENTIONALLY taken more pictures of him?
I think she would have... and in the end of the alternate version of this story, pictures would still be her main downfall (someone would find them, she'd show them to someone... something).
I found the Calvin Klein reference in the trial transcript (where she got Travis to sit down in the shower because it would look like a Calvin Klein ad):
MARTINEZ: Right before this attack happened, he`s sitting down, right?
ARIAS: I saw this thing in a Calvin Klein ad once. It looked really good.
Transcript:

There is also a reference to a "tape" where Stabby said the following:
"...but i ask him could take pictures of him in the shower and he was like no and i was like i just have an idea i have a couple ideals he was like well what do you mean and i was like i said i have this I saw this thing in a calvin klein ad once that looked really good and um your?re right he was?nt very comfortable at first he goes hes standing there and hes i feel gay ??"
His right side was next to the opening of the shower in the final, seated photo.

I think if the attack had gone as planned, and all the "mess" was contained within the shower, then there would not have been her bloody palm print in the hallway with her blood mixed in, or her hair pulled out in a struggle. I also think if things had gone as planned, there would not have been a huge mess to try and clean up, and she would have been less frantic, and she would have remembered to either take the whole camera with her, or at least the memory card.
In that case, all the truly damning evidence against her would not have existed. She would have been a suspect, but I doubt they would get a conviction with the circumstantial evidence only. No matter how strong Travis' family was. I think there is a good chance she would have just gotten away with it.
