It will be fairly ironic if Stabby ends up convicted and with the DP mainly because of a stupid lie about whether she had 3 gas cans or only 2.
And it is such a POINTLESS lie. I can't see that insisting she only had 2 added to her defense in any meaningful way, yet she insisted on adding the stupid lie about returning the gas can to the Walmart in Salinas. However, if SuperJuan proves that the gas can story is a lie, after Stabby looked that jury right in the face and absolutely insisted with the utmost sincerity that she returned that gas can, then even any pro-Stabby member of the jury will have to know that she is a bold faced liar, and that NONE of her story can be trusted at all.
Case over.
I look forward to the day the jurors speak. I pray they put it on her own lies in no uncertain terms.
yes! Tanisha w her fearless strong glares! She goes from that to FGMAB looks which crack me up too. FYI, I believe it is Tanisha (with an i) Sorenson
For any who think "little" Jodi just COULDN'T pull this off herself: 1. She's only ~3 inches shorter than Travis; 2. She had the power of rage/ high adrenaline; 3. No conscience to hold her back
My close friend's parents were both M.D.'s. Her mother did residency at a psych hospital: "They (insane people, i.e. socio- & psychopaths) had SUPERHUMAN strength like you wouldn't believe."
I think the lesson we can come away with from this sad case, is how to better recognize the signs of psychopathy/anti-social personality disorders in those around us, and protect ourselves/set boundaries accordingly. A good read: google "Psychopaths: The Mask of Sanity," by Hervey Cleckley, one of, if not THE most-respected authority/Psychiatrist on the subject. He asserts they may not even be HUMAN! I minored in Psych. I think this & narcissism are the most important concepts to understand . We should all be aware
You are correct about the spelling, I was in error. Tanisha has given some fierce eyerolls. How could any of his family not?!
Found this video of Tanisha bungee jumping.
Also Harold (Tanisha's husband posted a video from their wedding in 2010. Nice to see that a little bit of joy has found it's way back into their lives.
I wish everyone, Greta included, would stop feeding this tool's need to be in the spotlight.
thanks, saw those videos before. yes, how could they not I agree. But Tanisha's is rare, not anything like Samantha's. And Samantha has a wonderful smirk she often gets when she tips her head sideways like she knows what is coming. Steve cracks me up in how he can sit there so straight, yet his eyes and whole face get an expression glowing out like, come on hot shot, when he knows her answer wouldn't make sense. lol
I am pretty much over the whole which came first, gun or knife, but answer me this:
let's just say she shot him first.
is it not possible that the casing went flying off into the bathroom somewhere, and then, in the midst of all the struggle, it eventually got kicked/thrown on top of the puddle of blood where it was ultimately found?
I'm not attached to either scenario, but I do wonder if using the fact that the casing was on top of blood necessarily PROVES that it came last.
thoughts?
You make some good points.
I think one of the most important lessons to come away from this dreadful case with it to TRUST and ACT UPON your inner voice/intuition. While not everyone will be able to know and utilize the criteria for detecting a sociopath/psychopath, we all have a built in intuition. We are socialized to mostly ignore it, men especially. But it is there for a reason. I think, deep inside, we can detect that these people are different in a bad way, and dangerous. That they are "other". But I think many fail to act on it. They rationalize it away or ignore it.
Travis KNEW Stabby was a sociopath, he even told her so near the end. But he failed to trust that inner voice, and he certainly failed to ACT UPON it. It was screaming "Danger! Danger!", but he kept interacting with her anyway, and he paid the ultimate price for it.![]()
Yes, that is possible (if less likely). And that is what the defense will argue.
Imo, it would not PROVE that the gunshot came last, especially if that was the only piece of evidence available. However, when you add it to the absence of bleeding in the GS area testified to by the ME, I think it makes it more likely that the GS was last.
I agree with you- I guess I have just read so many comments on-line about the bullet being on top of the blood as "proving" that it wasn't first.
There were lots of areas in the bathroom that did not have blood on them. So to me it seems entirely possible that a small bullet casing could be sitting on the floor and kicked around without any blood on it, and then wind up on top of some other blood from the attack. I mean these were two people battling in a violent struggle all over that bathroom, and then her trying to drag his body and maneuver it to put back in the shower. So lots of chances for a bullet casing to have been moved from where it originally landed, IMO.
again, though, at this point, I don't think we will ever ultimately know what actually went down in that bathroom.

And she got cash. LOL
Oh, and also about the issue of the ME saying he would be rendered incapacitated by the gun shot. Maybe he said that due to the particular location of the gun shot, but I saw a program recently where a woman was shot twice in the head (once between the eyes and once in her ear, from several feet away) who then ran out of the house, knocked on three different neighbor's doors until finding one who answered, then proceeded to describe the attacker as the neighbor called 911. She was then airlifted to a hospital and appears to have made a full recovery (no observable problems with speech/thinking during her on-camera interview about the event).
Yes; Hare deems them "Interspecies Predators!"

lmao and she kept announcing it with a smirt and chest out pride, like that was the line that was going to save her life. Gawd she's like so many moronic criminals, street smart drifter, but dumb as a rock.
I still strongly believe, she is a serial killer that just was so dumb she got caught early. Young teen alcohol black outs, became a drifter very young, highly manipulative and a sexual deviate.
Reminds me a lot of some of the Richard Ramirez profile in the feral feline version.

I think few will learn anything and as time goes on, they'll forget and return to their own same habits. It's part of human nature unfortunately. Been that way since the beginning of man, to Jack the Ripper and a long history of psychopaths. They don't go away and there is always prey for them. Even cautious, aware, innocents are taken if they are 'marked' as a hit for these beasts. Bundy, Radar, Ramirez, Wuornos, or a husband, or brother, mother, father, gf, bf ... if they want to take a life, they make a way to do it.
I don't think the casing being on top of the blood proves absolutely that it was last. But I do think it makes it more likely.
The casing could have been in a clean spot, and then kicked on top of the blood either during the struggle or during Stabby's cleanup efforts. However, imo such kicking would have had to be in a very specific way. It would have had to make the casing go totally airborne, so that it could fly through the air and land on top of the blood cleanly. If the casing had just been bumped and it rolled or scooted across the floor, then I think it would have had blood all around the exterior (from rolling into the puddle of blood). It does not have blood all around, it only has blood on the part that touches the puddle of blood.
So is that possible? Yes.
Is it likely? Imo, No.
In order to believe Stabby's version of events, you have to believe a very long list of coincidences. I understand that coincidences happen to all of us now and then, but Stabby's version of events has SO MANY, that at some point it just becomes statistically so improbable that SO many coincidences could happen to the same person in such a short time, that it just becomes completely unbelievable. If there were only a few coincidences, her story would be a lot more believable.
Reminds me when she was quoting Fergie on the phone sex tape; thanks for this video, someone (Chelsea?) posted the lyrics and a different video a while ago.Shows how what is listened to can influence the influencable.
Gee, Dr. Samuel's reviews are not too good : ) I see he is located in Scottsdale, he must be doing well.
Have you checked with the Porters and others there for any video of the event? Also, some stated here that your posting may cause a problem (i don't think so, since you are not under supoena) but the Porters would be cleared of that.
Where does Dennis fit in this pic? (I have seen him in court) I read there were 8 siblings.
I have read that Samantha is a police officer and Tanisha owns an Advanced Hair Removal salon, some of you waxers may want to patronize her in Riverside.
The importance and the reason she lied about it is that two cans would not have held enough gas to get her out of Arizona without stopping for gas. So in her mind, having only two supports her lie of buying gas (for cash, no receipt) in AZ which would show she was not trying to hide the detour to Mesa. She needed the extra 2 or 3 gallons to get to NV. Lying under oath about the false return and the fact she had the three cans to avoid detection is HUGE.

I know we can't protect ourselves from every evil, but we can learn to identify those who are/want to get close to us as much as possible. I want to be very careful not to sound as if I'm blaming the victim in any way. He was figuring her out, obviously, but I think it was too late. Women usually tend to have intuition to sense it in others, but some people, especially those like Travis, who grew up with confusing boundaries if any, at a young age---I think it can be helpful to learn it. I agree that we should tune in to that inner voice
I believe it is 8 children including Travis, four boys four girls. When Dennis interviewed with HuffPost, he was said to be a 'younger brother'. I don't know about the rest. They seem to protect their privacy and I can respect that. I suspect we will hear a lot more once the verdict is in. I'm sure about slasher too, all kinds of things yet to be known that aren't allowed in court. Some will come in at sentencing phase, others will feel safer finally talking, and of course, more of the type like Gus that crawl out of the woodwork like as cockroach.
I know it is often called "women's intuition", but I firmly believe that it is actually "human intuition", and that men in our society are socialized to ignore those cues, because they are somehow deemed less manly or more illogical. Imo, they are deeply hardwired primitive brain survival cues.
And by the way, WELCOME, Vanilla Ice!![]()
...Also: Confronting a Sociopath/Psychopath can be dangerous business, and if we learn how to handle them, to a certain degree, we can avoid it. Nuf said. Everyone have a great day!
