I have Two of these rugs in my kitchen, they are bamboo and have a foam padding on the back. I use them to stand on while cooking and such as they are slightly padded, I actually did a test and dropped my coffee cup (empty) from a standing position and not only did it not really "bounce" it barely moved off the rug.

This murdering sociopath makes my blood boil, can't hardly wait for the DP sentence so the Alexander Family came begin to find peace and healing.

Tomorrow they are having an evidentiary hearing, wonder if it will be worth watching.

Just wait until cross exam. It won't take much to blow this up.

    Martinez: Dr. Samuels...

    1. Your testimony is based on what Jodi told you. How can you tell when Jodi is lying or telling the truth? You don't have to answer that.
    2. Have you ever known of another person besides Jodi Arias who had this form of amnesia? No?
    3. Have you ever accepted barter in exchange for favorable testimony? Yes, I see.
    4. When was the last time you treated a patient in a clinical setting? 10 years? 20 years ago?
    5. Without reading from your handbook, please define "borderline personality disorder". You have 30 seconds.
    6. How much are you being paid for your appearance?

    Get the fuck out!

Yeah, she was REAL traumatized by the murder, that she wanted to view crime scene photos and call the detectives and drive by Travis' house.
Great juror question....Do ptsd victims go to the scene of their trauma? How would they behave? Would it help or hurt their amnesia?

I think that those are good questions, also. I can't imagine that a TRULY traumatized person... one supposedly SO traumatized that they have PTSD... would willingly put themselves in a situation that would further their trauma. Who would seek out reminders of the most terrible even in their life!?

I can't, for the life of me, remember where i was reading it... but, someone mentioned that Travis' wallet was never found. Is this true? Anyone know?

So, I have a question for you guys!
Could someone please clarify something for me? When exactly did the Dr say she had PTSD? I only caught snippets of today's trial. Was it before the murder, from the abuse... DURING the murder, causing the memory loss... or BECAUSE of the murder, causing the fog? Not that I believe she had it at ALL (I'm kinda leaning towards her relishing in the memories of it - hence the asking for/peeking thru her hair curtain at the photos of it), just curious. TIA =)
I think he implied it was because of her killing Travis. That the murder was the traumatic event that cased the stress. I don't know that he ever came right out and said that though. I was in a bit of a fog.

What I took from this experts testimony is that he thinks that due to this acute stressful fog nonsense, she got amnesia and then that turned into PTSD. So basically murdering Travis gave her PTSD. So that could explain her psycho behavior after the murder. But none of this explains jack shit about the fact she made a plan and went and murdered this man. Who cares how she felt after she murdered someone. I hope she's got PTSD, VD, HIV and OCD.

PHOENIX (AP) ? A federal appeals court on Thursday threw out the convictions of a woman sentenced to death in the notorious 1989 killing of her 4-year-old son, ruling that the case was tainted by a detective with a history of lying under oath.

Considering it's Jodi we're talking about... maybe that's a hemorrhoid.

JM: ma'am is that a hemorrhoid on your lip?
Jodi: I wouldn't categorize it as that.
JM: ok ma'am how would you categorize it?
    Jodi: maybe a blemish
JM: would it be accurate to say its a cold sore?
    Jodi: define cold sore
JM: a herpe on your lip
    Jodi: that's not correct
JM: ma'am did you have a blemish as you called it on June fourth 2008?
Jodi: no but I did have one on the day when Travis attacked me in January.
JM: yes or no ma'am did you have a blemish on June 4, 2008?
    Jodi: I said no.

you should read - idk if she did anything - there was no evidence she was involved, even from the 2 guys on deathrow who committed it said she wasn't involved. only evidence was that Det. he said she confessed, but there was no video tape in interrogation, no witnesses, he interrogated her alone w/ no observers, and threw all his notes out - and at that time he testify there was already 8 cases rulings overturned for lying on the stand or police misconduct

Interesting! Dr paycheck didn't use CADS for his PTSD bull either.

The posttraumatic diagnostic scale (PDS) is a self-report instrument for PTSD that is simple to administer and has demonstrated good psychometric properties. We compared the PDS with the gold standard clinician administered PTSD scale (CAPS) diagnostic interview for PTSD. We assessed 138 women who were victims of domestic violence using both the PDS and the CAPS. Findings confirmed that PTSD develops at a high base rate in this sample. The PDS generally performed well in relation to the CAPS although with a tendency to overdiagnose PTSDhttp://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2977525/

I don't see the convicts saying she wasn't involved, only that they wouldn't testify.

does anyone think that the missing pages of Travis's book he was writing were used as writing examples (penmanship samples) in forging Jodi's 10 letters?
