NG brought up the incident with Dr. Samuels that happened in NJ in 2000, or thereabouts. Apparently he was supposed to talk to both parents in some kind of custody issue, but he only talked with the father. He also bartered with the father to do the counseling, in exchange for dental work from the father.

I know it was mentioned here, pages ago, briefly. But, this could be more serious as to his personal credibility. He didn't do his job fully, and then he only assessed the father, and did so in exchange for free services. So, was he bought off? He apparently was fined for this.

Not that it would necessarily have a big impact since he's allowed to take money to present a specific side, but, it would kind of cast doubt in his words and his integrity.

The thing that bothers me MOST about this is we are talking about custody of a CHILD. He didn't even do is due diligence for a kid? Wow. Just wow. Shows a huge lack of integrity. You just don't put a kid's future at risk like that. Some people will do ANYTHING for money though.

Welcome! I think it has mostly been decided that she bought face wash and sunscreen. That is the general consensus anyhow.

Yeah, mine too. I can "kind of" understand it though. I think it would be a lot more interesting to be involved in court cases. And if the money is better, then that is an added bonus too. I can't really fault him too much for that. It's a little odd to brag about it in court though. ETA: I could NEVER be bought though. I would only be willing to be a court witness if I believed I was helping the truth be brought out.

Ebay said they wil re-assess if she's convicted. It's hard to say because technically, she is not the seller. It's her mother, or brother or someone. And while we all know that money is going to Jodi, can it be proven enough to ebay? I think they could wiggle around it because the murderer is not directly benefiting, since she has a middle man handling the sales.

I would like to think that they would yank paintings when she's convicted, but I don't think they can be compelled to. At that point, it would just be a matter of their own integrity.
