I was watching day 2 of the trial yesterday. The girl who took the photos was explaining them as they were admitted. She said they took care to get the photos exactly as things were when they first got there.
So, the bathmat in front of the tub is another of Jodi's fogs, I guess.

I also saw that the doors to the linen closet, toilet closet and under the sink cabinet were all open. She said she got the cup from under the sink. Maybe the knife and gun were hidden in the linen closet. That box of copy paper would be a good place.
Also there were 3 tiny drops blood on the toilet There was blood everywhere, except the second sink and bathtub. I think that's where she cleaned up. Taking a shower with a dead body is too creepy to get my mind around.

While it is annoying that the Powerpoint presentation is being allowed in, I have faith in this jury (after hearing their questions to Stabby). This jury is not stupid, and surely they will see that quoting Time magazine articles is NOT the mark of a true professional. I think they will see this "expert" for what he truly is.

IMO everyone reacts differently to trauma. I am very sorry for everyone that has had to deal with something awful in their lives, but just because you experience it one way doesnt mean everyone else is going to experience it the same way. Without going into details, I have been through a very traumatic event. I was affected so badly that I was unable to talk to people, I couldnt leave my house for the last 5 years. I would break down and have a panic attack if someone so much as rang my doorbell. I would run and hide in the bathroom until I felt safe enough to come out. All I remember about the event that brought me to that was that my daughter was in danger. And one sentance she spoke to me. I dont remember confronting the guy, I dont remember confronting his family. I dont even remember going to the police, but it is all there in black and white. So I know I did. My point is you can not say just because your reacted a certain way that you know how everyone else is going to act.

Just adding this to the bottom cause I dont want nasty PMs or to be accused of believing JA's BS. She is full of shit and her "fog" is only a way to avoid testifying about the brutal murder. She has made that obvious in her answers, she only forgets stuff that suits her to be forgotten.

You know, I have PTSD... and sometimes I do wish I had that 'fog' that Jodi describes when it's convenient for her. But unfortunately it's been effecting my eating habits, sleeping habits... because when I sleep, I dream about a situation that I was involved in. And I think that part where she was on stand telling the jury she tried asking Travis to go see a mental health specialist - it was actually the other way around. Definitely cant hear any fear in her voice when she testified. No part where she felt like she was locking up or collapsing on the inside. No fear when she is describing being body slammed. This whole thing irks me.

I compare my ex to Jodi sometimes though. The only thing that makes him scared is when there are fireworks. The explosions made him try to shield his head and crouch down, only until I reassured him. I saw him do that about three times in one day on the forth of July back in 2008. Still thought he was in a war zone, so he kept reliving it. I don't sense the same fear coming from Jodi.

Thats what I'm thinking. When the judge said "this should have been brought up prior to trial" I was thinking, how? the defense presented this new information this morning! WTF. Yes, I'm sure he would. However, the jury still would have heard the one of Travis' friends made comments about him being a pedophile (and that I don't think Travis responded with "No, I'm not!").

As lawyers always say, you can't "unring the bell". Once the jury hears something, it is in their mind, regardless of any instructions the judge gives later.

Section 1: Well we know that she didn't have any issues with doing normal day-to-day activities, including socializing, working, taking vacations, driving, etc. Anything like flashbacks etc, well no one could prove what was or wasn't going on in her head. But, again, she didn't have any difficulties functioning as a regular person and doing normal things in daily life.

Section 2: She certainly has been completely devoid of any emotion NOW when it comes to Travis; not even regret or remorse. But she obviously felt things like jealousy, and no doubt, hatred. She claims to have felt love for various boyfriends and exhibited emotions. So that one's a little complex. But, again, she seemed perfectly able to engage in and enjoy regular activities. She clearly didn't avoid places and people that supposedly reminded her of alleged events. She most likely didn't feel like she had no future; quite the opposite. She was trying to craft a future with Travis.


Section 3: Despite her claims of shaking like a chihuahua, she doesn't seem to startle easily or present herself as hypervigilant. I think we can safely say that she had NO trouble sleeping, since she claims to have slept through oral sex being performed on her.

It appears these two close friends had an ongoing series of what I am sure they thought were hilarious dises for each other. Sort of the white Mormon guy version of a "Yo mama" exchange.
