For sure. And I have the utmost respect for his family. But that's why we call them (JAII site) out on it. There's no way of trying to reason or make sense of anything they say. It's just pure insanity.

Wow, I read this "expert's" link....impressive! NOT What a scumbag! I doubt his testimony and report will do much for the client in this case. The most "impressive" piece of evidence is that taped conversation that the defense added in. On that tape, Jodi is....what? A thousand miles away from Travis? She is fully engaged in the sex-play conversation with Travis. Unless his arms are super long, he is not choking her into submission. I hear her freely giving her opinion about many many things. In fact, she introduces some of the subjects they talk about on the tape. She giggles and laughs. No where do I hear her saying "Travis, stop...I don't like this and you know that." Nor do I hear her try to cut the call short. In fact, he's practically falling asleep toward the end of the call. I really fail to see how this is evidence of any dominance or abuse. In truth, it sounds like a conversation involving sexual fantasy and roll playing, with some of the most common fantasies among men. He sounds pretty darn normal to me. And she sounds like she thinks he's pretty darn normal, too.

You and I were having the same vision! I was listening to Juan question her about the shelf, and I was thinking about how the prosecutor in the Susan Wright trial brought Susan's bed into the courtroom. Had it set up and recreated the killing. It was controversial as hell, but it did bring home the point that there was NO way it happened like Susan claimed it did. I was wishing the prosecution in this case would have done something similar.

I had asked that question a few hundred pages back and was told the house had been sold, I do think it would be extremely effective to show how high those shelves were and ask Jodi to show how she jumped up and grabbed the gun. I would bet she could not do it which would prove that with someone chasing her it is even more far fetched. I also think since Mr Martinez is rather short in stature it would be even more remarkable visually

I agree that I am tired of listening to Nurmi drone on and on. Willmott gets to her point, it seems, quicker than Nurmi does. Plus, a new witness on the stand will be welcomed relief after weeks on looking at/listening to Jodi.

Yes! The pictures of Travis, sitting in that shower, shows how incredibly small it was. I forget the exact measurements, but I think it was 36 wide by 34? deep? Tiny. He would have had a problem trying to leap out of that position....or even get up on his feet!

I have a large shelf in my foyer with resting shelves on it. I was dusting it this morning. For shits and giggles I put my foot on the "tip of the shelf" like she claimed to do. Mind you I didn't put pressure, I kept the pressure on my other leg, when I put the slightest pressure on that shelf with my foot guess what happened? It flipped up and I ended up on my ass.
