Whatever wins Martinez has made previous to today, this win (should he hammer the timeline down in his favor) will be the biggest yet. And I definitely agree with those saying that the Judge needs to rein in this sideshow bullshit. I don't know if she's allowing it because she doesn't care, or if she's allowing it because it shows Jodi's true nature more than any evidence they have.

Also, Jinkasaurus, this is the exact way my 4 year old says her name! He tells everyone he meets about Jinkasaurus and the trial. I start them young around here.

so, something else just occurred to me about the photos and her "memory":

JA says she shot him, then went into a fog, then came out of the fog when the sound of the knife hitting tile brought her around and she started screaming, travis lying next to her on the bathroom floor. So, if she finished the attack with the throat slit, which the evidence suggests happened on the carpet in the hallway, wouldn't that mean that she would have had to somehow get the knife and Travis both into the bathroom from the hallway? so either she dragged him with the knife in her hand, highly unlikely, or she put it down, then dragged him into the bathroom, then went back to get the knife so she could be standing next to him when she dropped it in the bathroom? sorry, my head is spinning. i know this isn't at all what happened, but i'm trying to figure out what points i would make to the jury if i were prosecuting this case, given that JA's version(s) make no sense.

It's not just that. Her story is that the altercation started 5:31:14, and at 5:32:16 he's already stabbed and bleeding profusely. Her story about him chasing her around (with him wet and naked on a tile floor, no less), screaming insults about her ability to hold a camera, putting her in a wrestling hold and "choking her out", her getting a gun from the top shelf of the closet, shooting him, and somehow stabbing him without knowing how she got the knife or actually doing it; All this had to happen in 62 fucking seconds. I guess we'll have to hear more story changes and "memory issues" when Juan talks her through her timeline vs these photos.

The fact that the jury asked so many questions, and Jodi had to answer the majority of them....and she had diarrhea of the mouth when she answered them, it opened up a whole new level of stuff which could then be subject to direct and cross. I think her defense team got way more than they bargained for when they made their choice to put Jodi on the stand. I am so glad that they DID make that choice, though, as it's been very amusing to watch her try to talk her way out of it.

They let her blab too much on direct! 8 days that were subject to cross and juror questions. Then she keeps changing details, makes her look more like a liar. If they had to put her on, they should have kept it brief. I hope Jodi really enjoyed her trip down memory lane, it's gonna cost her.

hmmm, i'm starting to think that what JA and her DT are going to suggest now is that those pictures of JA dragging TA aren't the end of the attack. seems like the story is evolving now to try to allow for additional time. they may say that the attack continued after the dragging photos. i think it will be difficult to get the jury to buy into that, since the defense has never argued prior to today that the prosecutions assertion that the killing started at or just after the accidental ceiling photo and ended at the dragging photos, but i'm starting to get the feeling that JA's story is evolving yet again........

I don't think they can argue that point now with ANY credibility at all. She was in a fog, how the hell could they argue that? oh right. comports to the evidence...

of course there are. I heard over the weekend that the judge almost HAS to let them ask them, so she doesn't run the risk of appeal due to not allowing certain things.
Does it look like Jodi will be off the stand anytime soon? Heck no.
