Quoting Sneakers[ she should have listened a little more closely to her own sex tape before she made the Spiderman undie claim. TA says right on the tape he didn't even like Spiderman! One of the juror questions nailed her on that.]
That's one of those ding ding ding contradictions I was talking about earlier in the day.
Not sure but those pics have never sat well with me, just a gut gnawing ya know. Six of her and only two of Travis. Then as a psycho mocking her triumphs, she tells Flores right out, well I know times can be adjusted etc. But then on the other hand, why risk getting caught there? Just can't seem to make sense of these no matter which devil I try to play with them.
utoh, I'm gonna be attacked as a serial poster I suppose. Im so excited waiting for tomorrow I feel like a kid waiting to open my birthday present.
Exactly ^^
Game changer for me is the amount of cover up after the crime. For someone in a fog, she certainly was clear headed in cleaning up, gathering all her shit, moving a body, changing clothes, laundry, dumpsters, desert dumping, leaving messages on Travis' phone and deleting them and on and on. Coming out of a fog and the last thing you remember is a gun going off and a fight and you are covered in blood......AND you don't call 911? Says guilty to me.
The over kill really pushes me towards DP. It was a savage attack and it continues to this day. She dragged his body by the upper torso down the hallway...at least that's what I got out of testimony. I cannot imagine doing that with the body of someone I loved, while his throat is cut so badly, his head had to be flopping all over the place.
And as a final good-night, it was mentioned just a while back that Travis Alexander 'Manscaped." Just a couple of pages later, a very nice long-haul truckers wife revealed to us that her husband did the same. She also added the codicil that once her husband started the practice he had to keep doing it because the regrowth of hair in those parts causes severe itchiness that is almost unbearable.
Question? Why does Mr. Nurmi keep scratching his junk in court?
I leave you with that delectable image.
Until tomorrow! Good night.

Wouldn't it be good if the jury just handed the judge a note...

One can dream, but I think we're in for some looooonnnnggg drawn out BS out of the defense for still a couple weeks I'm thinking.
poppym! here you are
I'm failing greatly on my end of our bargain, my bad! I got my groceries delievered, new can of coffee and my dusting finally done though for trial tomorrow.
Here's a small one re 63

She was vengeful. I imagine she had several revenge fantasies in the weeks before the murder. She was obsessed and stewing...reading his email and checking his voice mails. She started out with a threat to ruin his reputation, but then said "fuck it, I just want him dead". She came prepared to kill him, but being unsure if she could do it..her backup plan was to ruin his relationships and reputation. Send her evidence to people like Mimi, the Hughes, The Freemans and maybe even his Bishop. She really wanted to knock him down a notch or two...How dare he insinuate she was not good enough to be his wife!
Oh gawd. Like this case isn't nightmarish enough!![]()
Ahem. -bleaches brain-
Back on topic.
There have been a few times when the thing has been cross-examined by Juan Martinez where she gets an expression on her face that completely creeps me out. I've seen it a couple of times when he's challenging her, or catching her in an untruth. Her body tenses and settles into a taut manner, and the look on her face is nothing but cold, cold anger and hatred. Sometimes I wonder if she isn't quietly thinking of how she'd kill him. And sometimes I wonder if that angry, defiant expression isn't one of the last things Travis saw before he died.
it makes no sense that she mentions the holster then says that on June 4, she doesn't recall it being in a holster and when she first became aware that he had the gun it was NOT in a holster. HOWEVER she does know that he had a holster. How does that conversation come about? "Hey Jodi you know that secret gun on the top shelf in my closet? Yeah, I know it is very small for home protection and I have only one round of ammo and I typically keep it there unloaded, it did come with a holster!![]()
That is the part that reminds me of the Falater case (which JM prosecuted and won LWOP). Falater said it was all a "fog" because he was sleepwalking when he murdered his wife. However, the aspect that overthrew that in the minds of the jury was all the steps he took to clean up afterwards. JM made a point to accentuate all the coverup he did saying that he obviously was consciously aware of what was done and was intentionally trying to hide his crime. Jodi is very similar in that regard. She is claiming the fog, but yet she did SO many crazy things to cover it up - attempting to clean the victim and the scene, deleting the photos, removing vital evidence and dumping it in the dessert, the voicemail, continuing calls and texts, the email, the letter and flowers to his family, attending his memorial, calling the detective to mislead, the lies in interrogation, the lies to the media...etc, etc.
He started in on her about "if you were in a fog, why would you clean up?!?!" Just reminds me a lot of Falater, and JM got the jury to realize his lies and acting were false (he also took the stand and was very much the actor pretending sadness over the loss of his wife).
I wonder if he is intentionally using some of the same techniques he used with Falater since she is claiming a similar "fog?" Good thing he's got thirty years of experience to help him deal with her, because she doesn't want to budge an inch! UGH.
In a text message ... Travis said something about telling everyone what a sociopath she was and all the things she had done.
I wonder what other crazy things she did to him or to others that would make him threaten her that?
omg, you have her down so well, watch out. lol She did exceptionally poor on this one. She adlips, then a break and Nurmi spanks her ass for being an effing idiot so she had to come back and still couldn't get it to sound smooth.
I wish I knew how making youtube stuff worked. I'd love on repeat when the juror asked about her "mental condition".
That's the first time I've seen this sociopath frozen by anyone. Of course in her mind, that was an ultimate insult, but she isn't allowed to get up and stab the jurors.
