I was looking at the underwear set that Arias claimed Travis made her wear. I am familiar with the testimony that the shirt was indeed made by his partners is a purported business venture.

Can anyone tell me if they see the same thing I am seeing on the shirt v the underwear? It looks to me as if the A and the letter V are very different on the underwear and on the tshirt.

I am wondering if she did not make these underwear up at a later time.

Well, I don't want to whore myself out so I better keep this to a four post minimum. I have nothing of importance to speak about so I will just take my booty to another thread. I need to explore. Found the porn one yesterday. Didn't know that existed on here. LOL!!!! Off I go!

I think the jury will have more questions and we'll have to go through more rounds of redirecting and x-exam -- not that I mind. That jury is every bit as brutal on Jodi's credibility as the State is.

As for the defense DV expert, I think it will be the same way it was with Wendi Adriano. He'll ask her whether or not she evaluated Jodi as an actual victim of DV, and how she came to that determination. In Wendi Adriano's case the questionnaires given to Wendi were designed for treating victims for DV, not diagnosing it. Like Adriano's expert, Alyce LaViolette is just a family marriage therapist and doesn't have the credentials to make such a determination, so she's out of the picture. That leaves the forensic psychologist. Judging from the defense's late motions to provide only redacted reports from their forensic psychologist, I assume that the full report is incriminating to Jodi. Maybe it proves she changed stories or lied? One of JM's questions hinted he might be going there.
Any chance that the defense could actually win such a motion? Sort of the same ploy they tried with the recorded sex tape. I sure hope not!

As I said before..I have been watching trial via mobile feeds at work between classes coming in. I work in a school. The day JA's big ole 2 car garage was on the screen I had just clicked on for a sec to see what I had missed that day and THERE IT WAS! I nearly broke my phone trying to kill the screen. Needless to say I don't tune in without headphones and making absolutely sure no kids are coming in. I really wasn't expecting that.

Travis Alexander, the ex-boyfriend Jodi Arias is charged with murdering, was convicted of 2002 theft and misdemeanor battery charges, according to court documents.

UPDATE: According to Jane Velez-Mitchell, Travis Alexander spoke of being a victim of identity fraud when he worked as a motivational speaker.

However, Alexander's brother, Dennis Alexander, says he was the one who actually committed the crime.

"It's something that I am ashamed of," Dennis Alexander told The Huffington Post. "I have been clean for almost 10 years and it's something Travis forgave me for a long time ago. He was a righteous guy and he never did anything wrong. It was all me. It was my doing. Travis was a gentleman. The furthest thing he would ever do is any sort of crime."

The charges, noted in California court documents obtained by The Huffington Post, accuse Travis Alexander of assaulting a store security guard in 2002, six years before he was slain in his Mesa, Ariz., home. Alexander was eventually convicted of the charges and sentenced to probation, according to his lawyer.

A key element of Arias’ murder defense has been her claim that Alexander was abusive. No evidence has been presented in the trial that suggests Alexander had any criminal history.

Arias, 32, is accused of shooting Alexander in the head, stabbing him 27 times and cutting his throat from ear to ear on June 4, 2008. She claims the killing was self-defense and could face the death penalty if convicted. The prosecution contends that Arias killed Alexander in a jealous rage.

Travis Alexander was 24 when he was charged with shoplifting and scuffling with a security guard at a Stater Brothers supermarket in his hometown of Riverside, Calif., in March 2002. Alexander was 30 when he was killed.

Alexander “did willfully and unlawfully steal and take personal merchandise” valued at less than $400 from the merchant, according to the criminal complaint filed in Superior Court of California. He "wilfully and unlawfully use[d] force and violence" against a man named Fred Lopez, according to the complaint.

Lopez worked for Stater Brothers at the time, a store spokesperson said. He hasn't worked there in about 10 years and efforts by HuffPost to contact him were unsuccessful.

The public defender who represented Alexander had incomplete records from the case, but recalled that Alexander got caught trying to steal an item valued at less than $50. Lopez tried to stop Alexander, and a physical altercation ensued, lawyer Debra Rice said.

"It looks like he was convicted of both of them -- the battery and the shoplifting," Rice told The Huffington Post. "That was 11 years ago, so I really don't remember much other than what I am looking up" in computer records. Rice added, "It looks like he shoplifted something and Lopez tried to stop him from taking it. It was a felony battery when he was arrested, and then it was filed [in court] as a misdemeanor."

Alexander was sentenced to three years' probation. Court documents said Alexander failed to comply with a court order in March 2002 to submit a financial disclosure form to the court.

Grover Trask, the former district attorney who prosecuted the case in Riverside, said he was unable to remember any details.

However, according to Travis Alexander's brother, he was the one who actually committed the crime.

Travis Alexander's brother, Dennis Alexander, told HuffPost that Travis Alexander was not involved in the theft and battery. Dennis Alexander said he committed the crime and falsely identified himself to arresting police officers as Travis Alexander.

"That was a time in my life when I was addicted to drugs and was a real mess," Dennis Alexander said. "I was stealing Sudafed, an ingredient in manufacturing methamphetamines."

Dennis Alexander said he was attempting to leave the store when he was approached by a security guard. "They tackled me and beat me up pretty good," he said. "I was already on parole and would have went to prison, so I used Travis' name and information. When they arrested me, they fingerprinted me and put it in the computer and found out who I was. They sent me to prison for a parole violation."

The court documents and Rice's public defender records indicate the case made it through court in Travis Alexander's name.

Here is the journal entry that the juror question references that includes sick/happy/sad/miserable, dated 8-26-07.

Excellent. Thanks for putting this together so we can see exactly when she said it.

Sadly, if questioned, she will say her "brain was scrambled" and she got the times mixed up.

Looks to me like she accidentally sent her comment before finishing. She's not a serial over-poster, and she had been attempting to get the discussion back to upcoming court stuff, so I'm not sure she deserves to be called out.

Hmm, now I'm confused...I was under the impression that murder 1 and felony murder were two separate charges? I wish there was some serious media coverage of this from a legal standpoint instead of the HLN tabloid 3 ring circus crap.

AZ has 4 types of homicide and all are felonies: negligent homicide (class 4 felony) manslaughter (class 2 felony) second degree murder and first degree murder, both class 1 felonies. Murder 1 is the only one that has possibility of DP.

Jodi offered to plead guilty to murder 2 but Martinez turned it down b/c he wanted to go for murder 1.

Are there any legal minds out there that can help?

Poppy I am a slow typer and I'm keeping up by my mobile. My fluff post was an error due to crap service. I was referencing discussion as to what we would be expecting to be brought out this week in the trial and the redundancy so far with all the sex references during the trial.

no not out here - unless travis went out of his way to go after the police to correct the report - they wouldn't bother - i have had friends that have to have to get aback ground check for a job - indian casinos - and they came up w/ charges they never committed the same reason as travis and the police never fixed - the police out here said i should just run a criminal check (we can do it online for free), just like a credit check to make sure that doesn't happen

Well I got called a Cunt by you for no reason.. so yeah, I do think some of the "old timers" are mean. I WAS going to pay and become premium. I was even going to let it slide that you were such a jerk Ron.. but have since changed my mind and won't be joining. Probably won't be posting much if at all anymore. This board has gotten out of control. Newbies get picked on, old timer's come in and troll the board and make jokes at other's expense. I don't see the point.

Most of the people who come here really just want Justice for Travis, or want someone to be able to talk to about their questions regarding this case. Not a rash and a shit from people who hide behind a computer screen and act like assholes because they can't do it in real life without getting their ass kicked.

I've been around for years and yet I have not got many posts because it's easier and safer to stay in lurk mode. I will just go elsewhere to discuss this case, because it's too close to home for me and I don't find the abuse worth paying for.

    RIP Travis

? about JA's cut right ring finger

Since she claims this happened at work before her trip...I don't see her finger bandaged in nudie shots with Travis -- yet she shows up in UT and it IS bandaged.

    Have you tried wikipedia?
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felony_..._%28Arizona%29

"The felony murder rule holds that a killing of a person occurring in the course of, or in the immediate flight from, the commission of the following crimes is considered murder in the first degree"

I think only your first post gets stuck in moderation. Don't worry about it.

It's funny, the Jodi supporters complain about Travis' family, and want them thrown out. If anyone does anything that can interfere with the verdict, she can charge them with contempt of court. This judge has been so lenient most of the time, at least it shows shes impartial, which is most important in being a judge. Mostly I see them laughing, it is during sidebars.

Some regular spectators have been asked to leave, cell phones going off and such.

Oh I do know his personality. I am familiar with members. I've also posted why I am so interested in this case. I don't come to a website to have it's "members" bash me, make fun at my expense, or treat people like shit. If that's your thing, go for it. It's not mine. Your snarky "nice try though" is EXACTLY why people don't pay the premium to join this site. It will continue to be that way because it's what you people like. That's fine. I've been around long enough to know you guys don't give a shit about anyone. Maybe at some point you might try caring that Mike could use members to join up and pay the premium rate and not jump their shit like you all do. But who cares.. right? I just can't take the heat.

    RIP Travis
