They were not deep. He probably turned around at that point, used his hands to try to fight her off, but she stabbed him in the chest as h got 3to the sink ( ME testified that the blood spurt on the mirror was due to high velocity splatter; he believed it came from the stab to the heart), he then had a series of stabs to the head and feet. He was probably on his knees at that point due to loss of blood, feeling sick to his stomach and dizzy.
The ME only speculated on how the back wounds could have been sustained. No one knows for sure. Same thing with the mirror and blood spatter and droplets on the sink and mirror. He actually speculated that the spray pattern could have been blood from his airways that he coughed out.

This case has been so captivating. I haven't felt like I could comment because I've been so far behind, but I really think the jury did a great job with their questions. They point out the inconsistencies with her testimony. I wonder what they're going to do to prove that Jodi can remember "emotions" but not actual details. I think the jury did a great job pointing out that her behavior was inconsistent with that of the past. My boyfriend, who has not been intently following the case, immediately picked up on the fact that Jodi said Travis threatened to kill her only AFTER she shot him. Also, if she shot him in the face, don't you think she would have noticed the blood coming out of his head as he went towards her? I would think it would start bleeding immediately.

Pretty sure if he were trying to hide their relationship, he wouldn't let her lay all over him like that.

On almost every morning, as they have done for weeks and weeks, attending various hearings and now the trial, they get up just like we all do, put themselves together and prepare to leave the house. What do they think, what do they say to each just before going out that front door? I know what I'd think and say. "Let's go get our brother back from that bitch." For the next five days, they'll have the blessed relief of not having to say that. And maybe on Wednesday, they'll finally get him back. Know what I mean?

If that's what they do they are waisting their time.nothing can bring their brother back ...not even the needle....The family is as blood thursty as everyone else....this will wear on them in way's they don't even know yet and is not the solution. The solution is for here to be in a cell where she has to wait for her body to wear out while her mind works .It's a hell on earth

I think what Ian means is that they would be taking back the memory of their brother, the memory she has tried to ruin with her lies. They deserve closeure of some kind.

I consistently see veteran MDS'rs encouraging lurkers to join and post, and as a former lurker and rare poster, I will say that it's no surprise why lurkers get a little gun shy around here. Most veterans seem awesome and it's cool to remind us lowlifes the rules of the road here (I.e stay on topic, don't serial post, etc.) but some of you all act like you can't stand us newbies who have found MDS. I personally love this site, but it gets just as old seeing posts about how lame we noobs have let this thread get as it does for others to see lame and too frequent posts.

I used to wonder why there was a need to have a "sticky" thread at the top of the MDS forums that addressed being nice to noobs....now I know.
get over it dude at the end of the day it don't mean shit.....not for you, not for me and surley not for anyone else

If you've ever been the victim of a crime and had to go through the court process, you'll know the great feeling it is when a sentence is passed down. I've been through it. Two years of agony and then verdict day came. Verdict day erased everything and put it all to rest. I can't explain the feeling. No, we never get back what has been taken from us. However, a guilty verdict is the next best thing. Justice. I do think a needle and sleepytime for Stabby would be a relief.

and if putting a needle in her arm gives them closure I then have to wonder if the Morman religion believes in forgiveness .....she will be gone .....long gone and they will live with the haunt.that's hell on earth ...........

The pic of the pupil totally creeps me out. Are her arms out to the side? Is something covering her mouth?
