I think whatever she has said about Travis, maybe what he had on her. I would bet my house she took some cash while she was there.
Along the theory of her telling bits of truth mixed in with her lies, when she was telling Flores her two masked people story she said the guy took money out of her purse when looking at her license and registration but she had the majority of her cash (60 or 70? I can't recall how much she said) in her back pocket. I think that's the money she took from Travis to finish out her trip without having to stop and withdraw money from a bank or ATM and leave a track in the wrong spot.

I think I have an idea though. I think she bought 2 bottles, one for Travis and one to taunt him with, for Mimi. I think this may have caused a fight that either set the murder in motion or was another fight that delayed her plan. It's the only thing that I can think of, her doing out of spite. I really think she was intending to be out of there much earlier than she was.

Yep. Little bits of the truth sprinkled over lies. I also believe Travis said a 5 year old could handle a camera better, he couldn't feel his legs and he asked her for help. In his panic and shock, Travis probably didn't process what had happened. My heart hurts for him and his family..

In january, I returned a video game to Walmart without a receipt. They gave me a Wally World gift card for the cost. A few days later, I found the receipt, I had purchased it at Target. Oh well. I still got money back, but no cash. Everytime I have returned something, the process is always the same. They mark thru the returned item and refund in the same manner I paid. They have never given me cash for something I paid for with a credit card.

On page 1700, I commented on my thoughts about the sunscreen, I think I figured out why she bought 2 bottles. I also commented on why the smell took so long to permeate the house. Since his doors were closed, the smell was contained to his side of the house. Once the door was opened, the smell escaped thru the rest of the house quickly!

I also believe she stole some cash from Travis ... or SOMEBODY.

On the subject of returns ... I have your typical debit/credit Visa bank card. I almost always use the debit option, because I'd rather just punch in my code rather than have to sign. (That way I only have to use one finger to touch something that a million germy people have been touching rather than wrap my whole hand around some pen that people have been using after scratching their buttholes or something. You know you'll be thinking about that next time you have to sign. Your welcome :-D) Anyway, whenever I return something at Walmart purchased with my card using the debit option, they give me cash. They refuse to put it back on the card. I returned a picture frame about a week ago, and they gave me cash as usual. Target usually asks me if I want cash or to put it back on the card. But I suppose that's neither here nor there since she paid cash at Walmart. So I guess I really have no point.

I do wonder, however, how long Walmart holds onto security video and if they were able to review that day's video and know that she never showed up at the customer service/return area with that gas can.

Did anyone here catch Martinez asking Jodi during cross, "Oh, by the way, how DID Darryl's remote get into your car?"

I'm thinking Jodi gave Darryl's son Jack Grandpa's stolen DVD player and forgot to leave the remote- so she had to go back and give it to him. Seemed like both Jodi and Martinez knew the answer to that one. Like he threw that question out to Fu@k with her.

So a few things. One I forgot my password and it seems like it took years to retrieve it. Not complaining...just stating, I didn't even try right awayway, I have 4 kids, so for years the only time I could get a moments peace was in the bathroom. If I have the time, I'll take a long shower sometimes, just standing in the water...relaxing while I can. So last weekend I was in the shower, under the water with my eyes closed and when I turned around my husband was in the shower, had came in the bathroom, undressed & all the way in the shower before I noticed him at all. Freaked me out, but of course, I thought of this case & how easily she could have snuck in and him not know she's there for a while.

I'm so far impressed & crossing my fingers Juan has something big to pin her on without a doubt.

I knew shed try sweet, angry & cry. I also know its all self serving. But I will almost bet money that when Juan calles her out & she can't find a way out & feels like her backs to the wall....she's going to break, I don't mean full on confession, I'm talking an emotional explosion. Tears, anger, all of it. People like her do not get sad, they get angry, they're wheels are always spinning on how to turn it back onto someone else. I personally hope I'm right & can not wait to see it happen.

Since we have a few days without court, I decided to spice up some previous footage. Make it a bit more entertaining.

I did catch that... and on that subject is there an inventory anywhere connected to the report on the robbery at Grandpa's house? supposedly "one insignificant thing taken from each room in the house" and oh, the gun.

It was wrapped in a Toblerone package. Well, they think, the only letters readable were 'rone."

The smart-ass attitude she has with Martinez hardly makes her look like an abused woman.
When her lawyer was questioning her she was all meek and kept apologizing to Martinez, she was like a different person during the cross w/Martinez.

Goes to premeditation because she went there with the idea of convincing Travis to take her to Cancun -- where she would need the sunscreen -- or else?

Obviously the sunscreen seems less incriminating that products to change her look and make her less identifiable -- i.e. the hair color -- but there is just no plausible explanation as to why Jodi needed 2 bottles of sunscreen for an overnight in Mesa and 1 day in Utah. She thought she was going to talk him into taking her to Mexico, I can't see any other explanation. She would need lots of sunscreen down there and doing all the tours of ruins and sitting on the beach, etc.
Funny thing is that is was a BONUS pack and may have been 4 bottles. She also bought 2 packs of facial cleanser. Wierdo.

No video needed. Customer Service would press "credit" on the register, scan the kero can, and the drawer would pop open and it would show how much money she would get back. It's all computerized. If JM says no one returned a kerosene can on that day, then no one did.
I think she picked up some cash at Matt's and Daryl's for services rendered. IMDM

He is clearly not injured in the sitting photo and that is the drain under him, not blood. Think about it though - there's really no good reason for a big guy to be sitting on the floor of a tiny shower stall. I think she forced him to sit at knife (or gun) point, probably so she could tell him off from a position of power. With the way she talks about herself endlessly, I cannot imagine that she would miss an opportunity to tell him exactly what she was upset about, before killing him. To me, it even seems like the water has been turned off by the time that sitting picture was taken.

I think it is that photo where he is glancing at the camera with the surprised expression on his face that is most telling - not the head-on up close pic of his face we're all focused on, but the one where he's facing the wall away from the shower head and he is turning towards her like he just noticed something. I think that one is where she pulled the knife or gun, or at least started verbally threatening him.
