Speaking of Jodi and guns, I was listening to Flores' calls w/ Jodi and at one point they were chit-chatting about how she pulls over to sleep on the side of the road and 'oh, that's dangerous' and Flores kinda starts to say something about her having a gun for protection, then he kinda trailed off and went back and said, 'Oh, that's right, in California, you have to register your guns. We don't in Arizona' and she perked up like 'Oh, really?!'. LOL

Wasn't it at the Hughes house or something? They gave each other oral?

Honestly, I can picture Jodi trying to initiate it and Travis saying they can't have sex because it's not allowed by the church. I could see them then discussing whether anal and oral "counted" and at that point, Jodi decides it's worth it to try and hook Travis, that she agrees to just anal and oral.

I mean, no offense to anyone and their likes or dislikes, but I would find it weird for a relationship to only consist of anal sex. I would have a hard time with that, even if I wanted to have anal. I tend to think that anal is something that people do, once in a while, to add to their sex life, not that it would be the center of it.

Travis wasn't really my type, so I doubt I would've ever dated him, but if I had and he said "we can only have anal sex", I'd be like "Hey, why don't we just be friends!?"
I agree with everything you said. Well said!

    and;
"I was planning to go panning for gold with 5 guys and bought a gun for protection."

Also, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I believe Matt McCartney is going to flip on Jodi. Totally FLIP on her. I also have a feeling that Juan will be bringing in some rep from Walmart who can explain not only that there was no Gas Can "return" but also that those two $9.92 Walmart purchases are going to turn out to be hair dye; NEUtral Brown. Mark my words... I may be wrong tho. We'll see.
I'm pretty sure wasthinking figured out by using product codes that the NEU was two Neutrogena products. Sunscreen or make-up, I think. I'll try to find the posts.

I was the same way, I can totally relate. It's sad that she never got help. Who knows if this ever would have happened if she did.

I'm 53 and can assure you, my generation knows all about anal sex. I'm not saying that every person has tried it, I'm saying it was during the 60's and 70's when sex was very free. I'm one of the no thank you group. I do know that it was something that did come up during relationships and was quickly rejected. I don't judge anyone who enjoys it, it's not for me.

I would love to see him up there and tell the truth about everything he knows. That would be epic. I don't think it will happen though. I agree, I don't think JM could trust him.
I agree. I'm not saying that they didn't know, I'm just saying that it was probably something that they didn't talk about 'in polite conversation.' LOL. I'm sure my parents knew what anal sex was, did they ever talk about it? Nope, and I for one am glad about that.

Now, these days? You have all the social media and tabloids, music, tv shows etc. And people talk about it all the time with their peers. At my age (32), I can't say as though I've talked about it with friends, much if at all. It might be something like "Tom asked me to try it" or someone might wonder "does it hurt" etc, but that's about the extent of it.

Of my boyfriends, it's only come up with 2 of them I think. And when I said I wasn't interested, that was pretty much that. TMI I'm sure, lol, but I'm far from a prude; that particular avenue just never interested me, still doesn't.

I'm just watchin' Day 29, when Jodi Arias is talking about her 'selective' relationship to the Mormon Religion/Church. She prattles on about the fact she knows some Mormons who drink and, she knows some Mormons who are gay, blah, blah. Where did that come from? Well, I can speculate, but I won't. One thing for sure! There is no possible situation that one can imagine where a Gay Mormon would sit down and spontaneously out 'himself' to her. If it's a 'herself,' well, that's a different story. For sure, it wouldn't happen at Family Home Evening events or while she's driving the Missionary Sisters around in Travis's BMW.

I worked in retail pharmacy for 20 years (SavOn) and let me tell you; the SKU codes are wonky. Protor & Gamble have their fingers in Neutrogena. Protor & Gamble also make Nice n' Easy products. My profession was back in the pharmacy, but we had to deal with all kinds of stuff out on the floor. (Crappiest part of the job) I'm more inclined to think that she bought 2 bottles of hair dye over 2 bottles of sunscreen. She needed dye more than sunscreen and at $10 a pop, why by two bottles of sunscreen? I've heard some say that it could have been because she planned on going to Cancun, however he wasn't leaving for Mexico for 5 or 6 days. She wouldn't buy the sunscreen before she knew if she was even going. Not if she was worried about funds. Who buys 2 bottles of sunscreen on the fly? Or two of the exact make-up products? These SKU's are from 2008. We really don't know what they stand for until a rep researches the numbers for that timeline. SKU's change. Naw, I'm betting all my chips on hair dye. With all that hair, she'd need two bottles. Hair dye was a necessity. The gas can was a necessity. Sunscreen? I'm not so sure about sunscreen. Doesn't make enough sense with her economic situation. Tho, I could be totally wrong.

I don't know the stats for anal sex, but I would guess that less than half the population has engaged in it, at least in a regular basis. I never have, have no desire to. And I'm in my early 30s.

Martinez is like my parents generation. I would have no problem believing that that generation did not talk freely about anal sex.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, if people enjoy it, but it's just something that is still considered outside the norm I guess.
I totally agree with this. I tried it once and it hurt...bad. Never again. I wouldnt put my finger up someone's brown eye and if I had a dick (which I don't) I would only let it visit clean places. I wonder what the statistics are for this and for vag hair removal on a regular basis. Personally, I think porn has made a huge impact on what society figures is the norm since these things weren't standard practice when I was young. I'm 55 and you are correct, we didn't freely talk about it. Ricky and Lucy had seperate beds on TV and gays were firmly in the closet. So nope, no talk about butt sex ever. When I was around puberty, things changed. We had the pill, abortion and the hippy movement and the beginning of the porn industry. It really was the sexual revolution. I found this interesting article which states 25% of hetero couples have anal http://doinitwell.blog.com/2008/02/2...-sex-negative/

Her lack of emotion telling her stories is what tells me WITHOUT A DOUBT that she was NOT a victim of domestic violence. As I've mentioned here before, I was in an abusive marriage a little over 10 years ago. I was with my ex for 7 years and married for 1 year because once we got married, the abuse became 10-fold. I STILL have a hard time talking about it without getting choked up. I can do it now, it took YEARS, but still, in certain situations it's just inevitable. Hence, me folding on the Dr. Drew show. The second I was supposed to talk about it, I just couldn't. I knew I was going to break down on National TV and no way was I going to let that happen! When you are abused, the emotions are so deep, you can never forget them. You can set them aside and move on with your life, but still, they stick with you.

The only thing I do not agree with is the sharing part. I held the abuse in for years and year and it wasn't until my husband did something so inhumane to me, I couldn't hold it back any longer and just had to tell my sister. Then my whole life changed from that point on. For the better, of course!

    *deep breath*

Ok, I just shared a lot! But this is the reason I am so passionate about this case. I know there are a lot of us on this site that have been in an abusive relationship as well so I know some of you can relate. It's so maddening to watch this trial unfold with her BS claims. Ugh...I just can't wait until verdict day!
Your story really touched me and I'm glad you shared it. I am a product of a domestic violence household myself; however, I am a child of DV, as well as a step child who was abused by the same guy -- step dad. It still hurts me today to the point where I can't watch certain movies, (i.e., Sleeping with the Enemy; The Burning Bed; and What's Love Got to Do With It) because of the horrible emotional response it brings out in me (crying, shaking). Jodi talks about how she shakes like a chihuahua, but I've never seen her do it. In fact, I believe she's stolen this term from those of us who actually have suffered abuse. I know I wouldn't have been able to withstand JM's cross myself because of my past wounds. When she got snarky on the stand, it proved to me that she was a liar. I sure am happy to be out of the horrible situation I grew up in, but because it lasted my whole childhood, it has really affected each one of my own adult relationships. I am somewhat distant and not easily trusting of men; therefore I've never truly been "in love." I've been in therapy for years and still cry and get emotional in confrontational type situations. Jodi really sickens me.

    Anal sex and 50-60's

    snipped for emphasis

I will be 58 soon. Our generation lived sexual liberation! At the risk of TMI;, anal sex information was freely available, people did it and some really enjoyed it. Until the mid80's, it was anything goes. Anne Rice wrote wrote books under a pseudonym that makes 50 shades of gray seem like a romance novel.

I was thoroughly convinced Travis was a virgin or at least very inexperienced with the "after baptism" story. Although I didn't believe that happened that day, I figured it did happen. Any one who knows about anal sex knows it can't be done with spit or dry.

    I will shush now.

UGH! I hated that stupid movie. I have a consulting business and one of my clients invited me to a viewing. All I could think of was those poor people on those planes,in the Pentagon and the Towers on 9/11. Not to mention the brave souls in NYFD and NYPD etc who rushed in to try and save people.

How could ANYONE ever think any of those people did ANYTHING to attract that!

I had this discussion years ago with a male colleague (I know, weird), but he brought it up at the time...probably because he had kids and most people with kids talk about their kids. I didn't have any kids at the time, but he told me that he was concerned for his kids who were going to be entering high school because it seemed like kids now-a-days weren't holding back with sex anymore because of the risk of pregnancy. Instead, they were doing more anal because you can't get pregnant that way. I thought it was really interesting, but am not sure if he was talking kids in general or just kids at the high school where his were going. This discussion was back sometime between 2003 to 2005.

KK, I am not going to give you the JA details I promise, I am just saying when my husband first asked if it was something I was interested in, mind you had he asked me this while dating only a couple days, or weeks I mighta slapped the shit outta him and gotten outta the car, however, when he first brought anal up, I was like HELL no, poopin that big makes me cry, ain't no way, but a little research, a trip to babeland for some superlube (KY is not good lube for this, so miss JA is not as smart as she thinks) and can actually be pleasurable. but there is no way in heck you can convince me that Travis having zero experience with it is the one who initiated the anal avenue in that relationship....

Can anyone point me to the eye reflection again...what page? I remember seeing it many pages back. I tried to do a search for the term "reflection", but it didn't pull anything up. Thanks!
