My thoughts exactly. He's freaking me out a bit. It would be horrific Travis' family to go through this trauma again. We've told him repeatedly to stop. Honestly, I don't know if he can help himself....I think he runs with scissors....

Defense isn't going to get a mistrail for DH commenting on facebook. Judge could perhaps hold him in contempt but unless he does something really egregious I doubt it.

Quick question:

Trying to figure out post killing road trip of Mesa to the Hoover Dam to West Jordan UT. Allegedly JA left Mesa around 5:30-6pm and arrived to Ryan's home in West Jordan the following morning around 11 am, Right? Along the way in a fog state and near-sighted blindness she got lost ending up @ Hoover Dam/Las Vegas. Mapquest says distance b/w mesa & Las Vegas is 5.5 hrs. Distance b/w Las Vegas & West Jordan is 6 hrs. Doing it as a straight shot mesa to West Jordan is almost 11 hours. So, getting lost and detouring to Las Vegas didn't really add a significant amount of time.

If she was MIA for 17 hours, what did she do with the 5 or 6 hours? How much time does it take to get rid of the gun ---15 or 20 mins? The rope into a dumpster --- 15 mins? Another hour to clean out the car?

Or did I miss something?

She had to been covered in blood because I don't think she showered at TA's after she killed him. She knew she had to get out of there before one of his room mate's came home. Plus no way she just got blood on steering wheel. Did she go somewhere near a stream/river/lake to wash off, dispose of gun and clean car? Plus she probably needed a couple of hours of sleep

Almost (and I do not use that freely) am glad to have a break til Wednesday...
I used to be a Facebook Whoredom (<- used only for the purpose of getting to say whoredom)
But now I seem to be a MDS whoredom, and I feel like I am cheating with MDS & friends on My FB friends, so that being said... I can finally catch up on my other obsession til next week, if they'll even have me back :)

I will be satisfied if she get Life in Prison....as long as she is convicted of the crime she most certainly committed. I agree that there are factors which may sway the jury in the penalty phase, but I think the sheer heinous and viscious manner in which she slaughtered this poor man will carry it's own weight in the deliberations. How can look at those photos and come to any other conclusion?

I'm thinking LIP too. I don't think she will get the DP. But as long as she is locked up for life, I am happy.

You do not need to register guns in Arizona. I live in AZ and am very familiar w guns. You can buy guns at gun shows w/out paperwork... I must say, a man owning a .25 is a joke. It wouldn't be of any use for protection. Even I as a woman know that!! Travis' gun owning friends would laugh if he showed up at the range w/ that. The law changed sometime in early 2010 where you do NOT need a license in order to conceal and carry. Prior to that, you needed to take a class and get registered w/ the dept of transportation (fingerprints and all). But, you're weapon did not have to be registered. Only background checks are needed for retail purchases like at gun shops or even Walmart.
