My original comment about Matt the liar McCartney along with the screenshots of his comments.

Something is up with the defense witness Matthew McCartney.

I was reading some of the court minutes dated 8/10/2011 and I saw this:
"Advisory Counsel, Victoria Washington addresses possible issues with witness, Matthew McCartney as stated on the record."

Is Matthew McCartney the reason Victoria Washington was eventually replaced?

Also this:
I was reading on the awful site "Jodi Arias is innocent" a while back and there was a post from someone only identified as mm (at that time) and this is what he wrote:"mm says:

Jason, I like how direct you are. What am I?

1. I am a man with a family who comes first. Yes even before Jodi.

This was written in response to someone who asked why he wasn't testifying for the defense. Later, the site reposted his comment with a title of Matt McCartney (comment re-post) http://jodiariasisinnocent.com/matt-...i-arias-trial/ , thus identifying mm as Matt McCartney.

So...the defense has a witness on their list who has said on this website that he would lie for Jodie. I'm surprised the idiots at that website haven't deleted those posts yet. I took screenshots in case they do.

What do you all think? Who is this Matt McCartney guy?

That was one thing Juan was wrong about, to the jury she said she cut it on a piece of metal in the glass washer while she was washing margarita glasses, most of the time I tune her out but I was listening to that bit.

Also, since the defense is butchering his character, can't the state call Travis' friends as character witnesses to refute it? They've been on TV doing so, but, as we know the jury isn't supposed to watch..

take it for what it's worth, she called him at the Hoover Dam when she came out of her fog, so how ever long it took her to drive there from Mesa with stops a long the way to burn her clothes and get rid of the gun and the knife that she took with her on her road trip.

I thought a suicide letter was a very common thing? I think that is why they are now talking about them so much. When my sister in law committed suicide she mailed letters out. They arrived to her oldest sister several days after her suicide. :( (It was a letter asking her sister to give the letters included to her three children someday. They were all under the age of 7. Very sad.)

I am so sorry to hear of your sister-in-law, I am certain it was a very painful experience. I can only talk about the ppl evaluated in the psych ER most of whom did not successfully suicide. Of the 9500 or so ppl evaluated, most some were thinking about it, and others made gestures. Of the ppl who were successful ~ 8 or so, none left notes. Of those who were thinking about it (suicidal ideation like JA said) and those that made a gesture (overdose, cutting wrist, attempted hanging) about 20 wrote a note. Perhaps, my experience is different because the er didnt receive the ppl who were successful unless there was a chance to save their life. JA's suicidal notes seem like she had a secondary gain attached to them because she said don't open until November 20th.

So, no, in my professional experience notes aren't common. However, they might be common in successful suicides...for that I would have to check the literature. Since JA didn't suicide, I figured my professional experience applied.

Of the notes I have read, they mostly contained apologies and hope that no one blames themselves. Typically very sad.

I dislike JM as a prosecutor, he's all show and no go. Really Juan, there is no return on a gas can in the Salina's Walmart? Where is the physical evidence? Did you offer a redacted printout? No?

Sheila Polk, prosecutor on the James Arthur Ray, (sweat lodge trial), remained both focused and with the truth. Juan is little more than a yapping dog, in hopes the jury will take his bone.

i guess its different for every one - my cousin didn't but we always thought she did it for attention, but ended up suceeding
