Jodi keeps blaming so many actions on having "poor self esteem at that time" - in 2007 and 2008 - since that time she's slaughtered someone and spent 4 1/2 years in jail, so are we supposed to believe that her self esteem has improved so much since "that time?"

I've lived the majority of my life with super low self esteem (it drives my husband NUTS) I've never killed anyone.

She is one of those people on facebook who has a status that always reads in a relationship. I have tried to instill in my kids to put the same amount of time you were in a relationship into the time off when you break up. I don't want them bouncing from one bad relationship into another due to rebounf.

the place was soaked with blood if she wanted to be the real "get away with murder" type she would have wiped the scene of bleach and took his body with her and buried it in the desert.She's a hack and there's overwhelming evidence she was there and killed him in cold blood.

She didn't have time to clean it all. She knew that one or both of his roommates would be home soon. She did admit to trying to clean somewhat.

I can only assume that her arriving in the middle of the night was part of the plan. She figured she could off Travis and have loads of time to clean up because the roommates would be off to work early in the morning. But, Travis didn't cooperate because he wasn't interested in having sex and instead slept until early afternoon.

I believe Zach was still staying at his gf's parents house at that point. If I recall, she and her parents were on a cruise and he was housesitting. The other roommate worked and took public transportation, so she knew he would leave at a specific time and then not be home until a specific time.

Let's say Enrique left for work at 8am. Jodi arrives somewhere around 4:30am. Enrique was no doubt asleep at that point, since he never knew she was in the house that night, until he found out from police that she was there and murdered Travis. If Enrique left around 8am (just a supposition), she knew she had a few hours to sex Travis up and try to change his mind about going to Cancun with Mimi. If she waited till Enrique left to kill Travis, she knew he would not be home until the evening. That would've given her 8 hours or so, to clean up the crime scene. But, it didn't happen because Travis didn't have sex with her until around 1:30pm. Then, he was doing other things, and she couldn't get him in a vulnerable position until he was ready to take his shower at around 5:30pm. Enrique was set to come home around 6pm or 6:30, as far as Jodi knew, because that was his regular schedule. Now, she only had 30 minutes to an hour, to clean up, instead of all day.



Back to the car/license plate thing, Jodi obviously did not park in the driveway, or Enrique would've seen the car when he left for work that morning. That means, she parked the car somewhere in the neighborhood. Someone might have noticed the car was unfamiliar, but could have written it off to someone visiting a neighbor. Surely though, they would've noticed a car sitting with no license plate at all and had made a note of it, if only a mental note. An upside down plate wouldn't have garnered as much attention, imo, unless someone got a closer look.

It's possible that none of the neighbors really noticed the out of place car. Or if they did, they didn't think much of it. A car without a plate would've caused someone to go and get a closer look, I think.

Harlette - I will jump in. I spent over 8 years in singles wards, also my husband was a missionary and has given his input too.

For those wondering:

1. The missionaries always explain the law of chastity. This is especially true if the individual has already been sexually active and/or is living with a member of the opposite sex that is not their wedded spouse or family member (I almost wrote and/or - ewwwwww).
2. When explaining it, they would have stated that "no sexual activity is permitted outside marriage" if they felt further clarification was necessary, then they would have. I think that would make it pretty clear that anal and oral are not permitted.
3. When an individual IS living with a member of the opposite sex that they are not related to or married to (AND especially if they have or are having a sexual relationship with said indidividual) they would not be permitted to be baptized until they were either married or had found separate housing. There are not exceptions to this rule unless you go to the first presidency of the church (like the prophet) and get permission - which may only happen if you were caring for a friend who was a quadriplegic or something.
4. Singles wards cover this topic EXTENSIVELY - and considering Jodi was in my ward, yeah, she knew plenty well! Heck, you hear an audible sigh and groan from the congregation any time the topic is chastity. Since it is a common issue for single adults, it is very commonly addresses. And they go into it plenty clearly. To give you an idea: All clothing is to remain on at all times. No necking or passionate kissing. No touching of private areas over or under clothing. No private areas touching together. Etc... Kind of hard to think any of her activities could be construed as a grey area when these are the strict guidelines.

There is no way on earth that she didn't know. And honestly, I don't understand why she is even pretending that. Why not just say, "we both knew it was wrong according to our religion, however, we started down that path and the further we went, the deeper into it we got until we just gave in. Then, we enjoyed it so much we figured we'd continue and someday repent when we choose to move on." I would believe that for sure. It's just a stupid thing to lie about and completely unbelievable!

So there you go...Mormon chastity 101.

I think she must think the rest of the world are idiots! She has said that she knows that if you are not interested in marriage than "do not waste your time" with that person, but anal sex is ok with them?? GMAFB!
