I think you can experiment with what works for you, but typically about 1000 mg - 2000 mg a night for remission. I get cold sores so bad, I went to the dr to get meds to prevent them. Prior to that, I got them when I was sick, scared, stressed to the extreme. The night my father died, while I was on the phone with the dr, I felt one coming on. Since mine were 100 times worse than the one she has, I do admit I wince when someone disses her for it.

Personally, (since none of us are immune to cold sores) I think the reason why it's funny that Jodi has a cold sore is because she appears to have such a high opinion of herself and think she's a goddess. Couple that with being on the teevee and it seems like a tiny bit of karmic payback. That's just my 2 cents worth, though.

No, not likely... that's where the cocking the weapon comes into play. I keep mine stored with the filled magazine out of the weapon, so I would have to insert the magazine and cock it before being able shoot (mine does not have a safety). Even when I am travelling, I simply load the magazine and do not rack one into the chamber for safety reasons. (Can either cock it and shoot it or pull the trigger twice - once to load and once to actually fire)
