Ok a few things I was thinking about and wish I posted yesterday but was tired.

1 a couple of days ago when jodi was on the stand did she seem to be blushing? Her cheeks were kinda rosey like an anxiety thing? And I noticed there was a young girl with dark hair lots of makeup sitting behind her mother almost like mocking jodi?
2 she said she got drunk and blacked out at 15 looks like she wasn't an easy child to raise and looks like her father/mother deserved to discipline her.

3 Did anyone else noticed there where a few questions she was really flustered on? Other then the Mormon ones.? Don't have time to review them again but seem there were a few q's that stood out as something to ask more about. Humm I can't remember but she either answered really fast with a yes/no or ran in a circle.

Did anyone else find any particular question/answer stick out? Other then the one about her mental illness I had to laugh at that one. Ok have fun with the trial today.

She got really flustered, stammering and pausing, clearly searcing for an answer, when she was asked why she took pics of the "Travis" shorts and top, but didn't take a pic of the Spiden man underwear, why Travis would have sent Spiderman undies to her, would want her to wear them, when he clearly said on the recorded sex tape that he did not like the Spiderman character! She ended up speculating on some (made up) "young boy" he was "friends" with, one who love Spiderman! She's despicable.

she was not going through Death Valley (yet) and AZ is like any other state, plenty of ops for gas, truck stops too. You just have to use them and don't be stupid. Coming from LA was no problem, so you must really be relating to her on another level, at least sumliminally. IMO. the argument of running out of gas is ridiculous.

I did get to listen to some of the questions the jury asked & they were hilarious.

This is a good book. It also describes my sister, who was diagnosed BPD years ago. Another reason I am interested in this case, as I mentioned in my intro to you guys pages back. It's like seeing my own sis on the stand. After all the crap she's put the family through over the years, I could see her doing this to a boyfriend, as well. She's come close, let me just say that. It's all very disturbing indeed.

I will be very interested in hearing from the psych expert witnesses even though the battered woman one will obviously be biased. I hope Martinez has some lined up to refute that and give some insight into what her diagnoses might be, from someone who has actually interviewed her.

Speaking of diagnoses, I am officially obsessed with this case!

I think whoever made this video put a lot of time and thought into it, it's well made, and it comes VERY close to what I think happened (I still am unsure about WHAT to make of when the gunshot came, so on that I waffle back and forth from 1st to last). I wish the prosecution could have presented something like this... it made the impossibility of her story stand out even MORE when shown real-time, in video!

It was an amazing video, and very demonstrative. Many kudos to those who created it. I was thinking all along that a reenactment video would be such a great idea, and why wasn't the prosecution doing one. Hearing something and imagining it in your mind, and actually seeing it demonstrated are two very different things. I hope there is some way the jury can see something along this line.

I have waffled as well on the gunshot, but the more I think about it, the more I think it was the final part of the attack, to finish him off. In addition to the forensic evidence, I think if the gunshot was the first blow, then she would have just kept shooting when Travis was not dying fast enough. Shooting him once and then switching to the knife seems like an odd choice.

I think she stabbed him, then slit his throat, and when he was making horrible noises in his death throes (and probably especially from the slit throat), she freaked out and used the gun as a last resort to make Travis stop and be quiet. (Sorry if that was too graphic).

Really!! Still wondering where that one came from- I don't recall 'skank' being referred to in her prev. testimony. Can anyone help out w/that?

She dragged him back into the shower to wash him off. There is no other reason to do so. Look at his corpse in the shower and the lack of blood. He was stabbed multiple times in the chest. Where is the blood bath ? Down the drain is where it is .

Um....have you seen pictures of the crime scene? Most of his blood volume is within the carpet, on the tiles floors, and the walls, etc. I agree that she may have put him in the shower for that reason....who knows....but you asked where the bloodbath was, and it makes me wonder if you've truly looked at the photos.

I'm pretty sure the ME said the gunshot was last due to the lack of blood loss. He said if it would have been first Travis would have been incapacitated quickly.
