P.S. - I'm sorry for the rant - but thank you, thank you, thank you, to all who gave me GOOD REPS for my dream post yesterday... sometimes I don't like to share things like that...for fear of exactly what happened. But I do appreciate all the normal and considerate folks in here who actually appreciate others sharing.

I've read to catch up and today I might listen as long as it doesn't cause me to throw things at the dog. One untied loose string for me is whether she convinced on of her back-up men to try to help her clean up or stage the scene. I am not convinced she did not. I still think she acted alone to murder him but there is nothing that clearly states no one helped clean up or try to clean up before leaving.

And, I stumbled upon some videos of Travis shortly before he was killed, joking and having a good time. He was doing the chicken dance in one, and you can actually see Jodi run across the screen at 27 seconds and come back with her camera :/ Really gives you an idea of who he was. A fun-loving guy, it seems as though everyone he came in contact with liked him. Very sad to watch those videos and see his love for life. Not painting him as a saint, but he seemed like a genuine and fun guy.

I for one enjoyed reading your post. It put a big smile on my face because I can just picture Travis acting that way. Amid all the horrible things being said about him for days on end, can't you just picture Travis saying to all of us here - its ok. I'll be fine. Keep the faith!

As for someone slamming you - don't let it bother you. We appreciate your posts.

This is seriously O/T but I just glanced at the post count here. 40,200 posts on the entire thread. Just think - we are almost half way to the 80,000 plus emails and texts sent between Travis and ja. Still mind boggling to me that two people could have sent so many messages. Probably ja sent 75,000 of them.

    Ok, return to topic.

She lied again and then added a new piece to the story. She knew Travis had a "problem" in her words, but doesn't find it funny he had a little boy he was close to that liked spiderman? She's a nut. This question though I think shows her really start to freak and not be able to lie on the spot.
Can't wait for more jury ?'s they seem very intelligent so far. I love the skank one. LOL
VioletPlanet & Lilangiepangie - totally agree!! That damn spidey story with Travis being "close to a little boy who liked spiderman" - W.T.F. really? The jury has to see that she's grasping at ANYTHING, making up flat out LIES on the spot to save her sorry ass. Why have we never heard of this little boy prior to this? You would think after all her pleading for him to get help with his "issue" and giving him pamphlets on pedophilia...we would have heard her mention, "...and I requested for him to stop spending time with little Johnny, for fear he would do something..." -- or whatever!! She's SUCH a pathological liar!!!! Does anyone agree with what the ladies on Dr. Drew mentioned last night? That, the jury is almost mocking her out with some of their questions? I can't tell if they are mocking, but some are funny like: "you said this, then later you said this...which one of these statements is true?" and "What is your definition of a 'skank'?" LOL!! Those I giggled at. Anyway...it is maddening to see her on the stand answering these questions with zest and energy. She's LOVING this limelight.

Forgive me for my ignorance as I am new, what is a rep and why did they report you? Maybe it was one of Jodi's family members trolling around.

Yes, she does and she will rule that prison. She wants power. She thrives off it. Part of this whoe sick story is that her physical appearance looks non-threatening. She knows it too. Yes, she was coached but her ability to answer anything that is thrown at her without a hiccup requires an extremely controlled mind.....that is unto u really piss her off.

I aso find it interesting that it seems her only friends were men. Where are the good girl friends she could confide in. Their were none...

Why is this a big deal? The maximum sentence for Murder 2 in AZ is 22 years. Do the math, she's already served 4 1/2. She could be out in her 50s. I'm worried.
I don't know if anyone responded to this or not yet, since I'm about 10-15 pages behind after going to bed last night. If so, I apologize.
There is also a secondary item to the Murder 1 or First Degree Murder that the prosecutor has brought against Jodi, and that's Felony Murder. What's interesting in this story she's giving, she's claiming the gun and the knife were Travis's. We, of course, believe that's not true and she brought them with her. However, if we go by her own story, that the weapons were his, then she stole them when she left his house that night. I believe that's enough for Felony Murder. I may have been a paralegal for 20 years, but I was in civil/product litigation (much more boring), and I've been out for 5 years (brain is forgetting some stuff). :)

I thought I would die (laughing) when I heard that question. This jury is smarter than she thought. And the question about lying, what was her reply?

Here is a Jury/Juan Martinez question I'd like to see asked of Stabby:

If you can't remember what happened after the gunshot, how did you know to include a KNIFE in your Ninja story?

Seriousl! And if I were JM I would have objected to most of her answers. I don't think she actually answered most of the questions. She went into "stories" and expalations that didn't end up answering the question as it was asked. Maybe the jurors aren't happy with her answers. I will laugh if they are repeat questions, since she didn't answer them in the first place!

I hate to admit it, but I was super fascinated by Ted Bundy, and he was put to death the year I graduated high school. I still remember all the "Burn, Bundy, Burn" signs being held outside the prison the night he was electrocuted. I saw all of it on television. At the time, I didn't know much about him, except he'd killed a lot of girls. I learned more after I read the book by Ann Rule "Stranger Beside Me", and watched the movie (with Mark Harmon). I'm wondering if there's going to be a movie on Jodi and Travis one of these days. If there is, I sure hope it's factual and doesn't use all her lies. Of course, once they get to the court testimony, it would be there, but I sure hope they don't actually make the character playing him do anything like what she's claimed. Anyway, sorry for rambling here...

Yes, we did discuss. Also the gas can could show intent for arson. The cover-up and not calling 911 also need to be considered. The really big thing is the cruelty, though.

She keeps changing facts around. The more she talks, the less the jury is likely to believe her.

How did the bullets get it the gun if Travis didn't keep it loaded? She goes in circles.

I have a narcissist in the family and one thing he always does is the circle thing. He can't do A until he does B, can't do B until he does C, can't do C until he does A. To him it makes perfect sense, we're the stupid ones.

This is very very interesting, and very thorough. Something like this needs to be shown to the jury to disprove Jodi's timeline. Awesome find :)

she was not going through Death Valley (yet) and AZ is like any other state, plenty of ops for gas, truck stops too. You just have to use them and don't be stupid. Coming from LA was no problem, so you must really be relating to her on another level, at least sumliminally. IMO. the argument of running out of gas is ridiculous.

This is a good book. It also describes my sister, who was diagnosed BPD years ago. Another reason I am interested in this case, as I mentioned in my intro to you guys pages back. It's like seeing my own sis on the stand. After all the crap she's put the family through over the years, I could see her doing this to a boyfriend, as well. She's come close, let me just say that. It's all very disturbing indeed.

Martinez said in presenting his case on direct that the felony was Jodi being in the house after delivering the first stab wound to Travis 'cause she obviously would not be there any longer at Travis invitation. Therefore she was committing the Felony of a 'burglary' and she committed murder during the course of that Felony--hence, 1st. Degree. It's on the video but I don't know the exact spot or even day.

I hardly ever remember my dreams, but most mornings I wake up thinking about the case, so I was probably dreaming about it too.

A lot of people shared personal stories last night. I think the large amount of questions Jodi actually answered in one afternoon gave a lot of fuel for discussion. It brought quite a few newbies in too. I hope nobody's feelings were hurt in the dicussions last night because everyone was so excited.

There will be a star on the left bottom part of each post, next to the "report post" triangle. You can click on that to give positive or negative reputation to the poster. Once you have 50 posts, you'll be able to see your reputation #. You can start giving reps at 10 posts, I think.

I think so, but if she brought the gun and knife that equals premeditation.

Who would do that? I thought your dream was awesome. I sure wish I could have a dream like that. I love watching Teresa Caputo (the medium) on tv and can't make it through an episode without crying. I love stuff like this.
