EX 159- Jodi didn't see him shave that day. Nurmi zooms in on the photo and said he had stubble. (Holy shit. Who cares?) Jodi has taken other pictures of Travis shaving. Travis posted the shaving one online on MySpace.

June 4th was the only time she took pictures of Travis in the shower. Jodi admits she lied to Flores. Travis was proud of his body on June 4th.

June 4th- EX 249- bathroom diagram. (oh crap) She's marking her spot where she was- By the shower. That's where she dropped the camera. (commercial) The camera came to a rest by the tub. Her back was to the closet area. (Her poor attorney can't even lead her to say the "right" thing and he tries so hard.) 'Wind knocked out' is just an expression. (commercial) Travis was standing over her. Jodi doesn't know where the camera was. Travis was yelling and cussing and using the F word. Jodi had fear. Everything happened fast. She can't remember if she was in a fog. (Nurmi is funny at this point-he's pointing and yelling at the floor in a Nurmi way) It was almost the angriest Jodi had ever seen Travis. She was scared he was bringing her death. She rolled away from him and ran. Jodi doesn't know what Travis did at that point-but she thought she hear him. (commercial) She ran down the 11 foot 4 inch hallway into the closet. She was not looking at her watch. She didn't believe she could get away from him.

EX 69-Travis' closet. She slammed the door, and then went for the gun. The gun was in a holster. WTF?????? HOLSTER??????? (where did the holster come from?)

EX 249- Diagram of the bathroom again. Her first thought was just to run-to the other closet door- and get the gun in the holster. (okay, really?) As soon as she slammed the door, she knew she wanted to get his gun. Travis opened the door. Jodi ran in the bathroom after she got the gun. Travis had more traction on the carpet. (commercial) Jodi pointed the gun at Travis. She was in the center of the bathroom but they fell by the scales. Travis was screaming. Jodi was scared. Very, very scared. She thought he was going to kill her. Jodi hoped the gun would make him stop. He did the linebacker thing. (commercial-ugh)
(Joey Jackson just said there are 100 questions for Jodi tomorrow-WOW-Nancy Grace is sure to have a T-Rex baby tonight live on her show) He was about as far as Jodi and the court reporter. He was running (naked and wet. Okay, right) Jodi remembers or not backing up. (no tears BTW) Jodi broke away from him and she was getting away, he screamed. She doesn't know where the camera was. Or where the bullet casing was. (it switched over to JVM) She's using logic with the knife and stabbings. (BS, she remembers everything) She knows nothing about the knife. (Jodi just cracked her neck in court) Jodi knows nothing about the cleanup efforts afterwards. She doesn't remember grabbing the gun, rope, with her. She doesn't remember placing his body in the shower. She remembers screaming and dropping the knife. She can't describe how she felt. Other than it was horrible-panic.

EX 78- Travis' body in the shower- She never meant to kill him and leave him dead in the shower----it was never in her thoughts that she recalls. (WTF?)

June 4th to the date she was arrested- She sent him text, emails, and voicemail.
Why? She knew she did something wrong and she was scared. Cover-up. (plain and simple)

Jodi was somewhat ashamed of the sexual behavior. Not too ashamed to go to the bishop. Just certain things. She wanted to protect Travis' reputation.

So I'm typing this as I am re-watching yesterdays testimony with the bf -so he can catch up- and getting irritated COMPLETELY pissed off all over again! She is just so cold and calculating(?). Not as cunning and smart as she would like to think she is. She comes off as a person completely devoid of feeling. Robot like. Describing the events... supposedly terrifying events... leading up to her brutally murdering someone with no emotions whatsoever... like she could be recalling a boring trip to the grocery store. Who does that!?

Watching the faces the bf is making is interesting though, cuz I know they were probably the same ones playing across my face, at my laptop, yesterday. Specially the angry, unbelieving face he is making at her "what part would that be" statement. GRR. Unbelievable.
Watching it after having just showed him the new vid from last night, how he was SO happy and full of life, is making this even MORE sad. Who would have thought THAT possible at this point?

She really cannot just answer with a "yes" or "no" like a normal person, can she? She ALWAYS has to add something, anything, to the answer. How come? Is this some sort of sign of something? Some disorder. Being a darn pathologically lying sociopath murderer? Something?

It drives me batty. I can only imagine how its making her lawyers feel. As much as I dislike Mr. Nurmi, I dunno if I can really imagine ANYONE doing a stellar job with her as their client and this as their case. Almost makes me feel sorry for the guy. Then I remember the boogie picking, crotch adjusting, and loungin' in the chair with his friggin' knee up on the dang desk (I dunno why, but that bugs me SO much!!) my sympathy for him pretty much evaporates just as quickly. In short: no. Research suggests that 'repressed memories' don't exist. On the contrary, during trauma or arousal (i.e an emotional arousing event such as killing someone), memories are likely to be clearer than every day memores; traumatic or emotional memories are 'over consolidated' or more hard wired into the memory networks in the brain than 'everyday' memories. This is one of the reasons why people develop post-traumatic stress disorder and have 'flashbacks' of bad memories when they have experienced trauma.

Having said that, it is theoretically possible that a short period of amnesia (such as described by Jodi) might be induced by a seizure or other neurological event. However, assuming she has no neurological history, it's highly unlikely she was having a seizure, and she likely would not be able to drive during a seizure in any case.

I've learned that the most common type of amnesia is accompanied by a blow to the head, leaving the patient with no memory of events leading up to the blow to the head. It happened to me in an auto accident.

Catching up from last night. I'm 5'9 AND we have a king size bed. If the rope was 'taunt' and her hands were almost touching the headboard (as she said yesterday) there is NO WAY.

How could there be no way? I can put my hands almost from one corner of my kingsize bed to the other corner with out rope and Im only a bit taller than 5'9''.
