I don't know, but some of us might be.
I dont think she was using the royal "we" I think she meant if she had made different choices, she wouldnt be on the stand and they wouldnt be in the jury and the gallery would be doing what ever else. The fuel cans are LEGALLY color coded, blue for kerosene and red for gasoline. It is very dangerous to store gasoline in a kerosene can, because if used in a kerosene heater it would cause a fire and possibly death.
How the law is enforced may differ from state to state, gas station to gas station or even clerk to clerk. Because she didn't fill it to its full capacity, 5 gallons, I'm thinking someone may have intervened. That person may have even recalled the incident back in 2008.
It was just plain stupid to buy that much extra gas in California. Jodi is not as bright as she likes to pretend.

The only danger is misuse because it is mislabeled. The can itself is not problematic. It may be illegal, but this is not a girl who cares about legalities. She didn't plan to store the gas, she planned to use it somehow in killing Travis.
She might have intended to chop Travis up in the shower and burn his remains in the desert, but the killing got out of hand quickly w/ blood everywhere and dismembering a body is not easy. Or she might have just been planning to not fill up in AZ so she could claim she wasn't there.
