I'm curious, does anyone believe Travis said he would have won the wife lottery if he'd married Jodi, yet their dating relationship only last 4-5 months? I have been in 3 long term relationships in my lifetime (6 yrs, 11 years and 10 yrs). I've never dated anyone for only 4-5 months and contemplated marriage that quickly.

I honestly think she's double-jointed. I bet she can do that to almost all of her fingers. That finger doesn't look any different than her others unless she intentionally bends it.

I broke the ring finger on my left hand when I was pregnant with my first child - so no pain pills allowed. It hurt like hell. I couldn't even cut my meat, because I couldn't use the left hand at all. When I went to the ER they didn't have the proper size splint, so they made something up. The finger still wasn't stabilized until I got to Orthopedics and they splinted it properly and I finally got some relief. This idea of popsicle sticks is bs. A real splint has foam cushioning on bendable metal to conform to the shape of the finger.
Even though she could have written with her right hand, I don't know if she would have bothered to write 5 pages of "nothing happened" with her left hand in pain trying to hold onto the journal. It's utter nonsense, and the pages show no difference in her writing. Yeah, oh right!

It is common in the Mormon community to date for a short period of time before you get engaged and get married. My brother and sister in law dated for less than 3 months before they were engaged and they were only engaged for a couple months. They've been married 18 years now.
My husband and I knew each other in HS and dated off and on. Then we broke up and lost contact for years. I called him in June 2000, we were engaged in August 2000 and married in January 2001.
(I think it has a lot to do with waiting to have sex until you are married. Most Mormons don't have long engagements because they don't want to risk the temptation)

Did many of you manage to stomach watching after the edited tape was played?

I couldn't at all, I muted it and then just switched off altogether because I can't stand to watch this woman try to justify what she did. Though I understand JM lost his temper a little and I completely missed him questioning her about the journal. I may have to just find that part to watch.

Will try to watch again today but I honestly can't stand watching the poor guy being dragged through the mud any longer.

One thing I thought about last night was the day the Defense tried to get Sex Tape 2.0 into evidence, the day Jodi was VISIBLY upset and had been crying for real. Now that i've heard both versions I see why she was so upset. Yesterdays version hardly showed the real Jodi and the way she manipulated Travis sexually. Thank goodness for Super Juan and fighting for the jury to hear the real version first. Hopefully by now they have seen through her bs and will discredit that crap the Defense pulled yesterday.

I actually did this at one time in my life. When I was a teenager I had a journal and wrote all kinds of crazy things in it. I read it as a 20-something, got embarrassed by my teenage angst and drama and then destroyed it. I regret it today.
