After all this "new" evidence, if the prosecution does not get another crack at her, there's definitely something wrong with the justice system in Arizona.

OMG I am so sick of this Shut Up! Shut UP! SHUT UP, Jodi, Nurmi, just please stop making my brain bleed.![]()
Struggling to keep my eyes open. I usually don't go to bed til around 4am most days but this is so freaking boring it's unreal. Nurmi's voice would put the worst insomniac to sleep. The jury must want to stab their pens in their own eyes.
oops she had a hard time holding back her smirk. Thank God for Juan. It is just so much more fun to watch him.
Nurmi sure knows how to get Juan fired up...
I understand the favoring the accused. I also understand that you can't present evidence, and then not let the other side have a chance to question the witness about it.
On a lighter note, I've found this hilarious interview by a friend of Jodi's.
http://radaronline.com/exclusives/20...h-says-friend/As the nation continues to be transfixed by the bombshell trial against the woman accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend, 30-year-old Travis Alexander, Arias? friend Gus Searcy thinks televising the court proceedings in Phoenix, Arizona was a mistake.
He says: ?I think the prosecution is more interested in getting the death penalty than the truth. He has watched too many episodes of L.A. Law.?
Yes, this is from Gus Searcy, if you can believe it. Notice he's still trying to claim Jodi called him the night Travis was killed, but saying that she told him she was in California at the time. He asked if she needed a ride somewhere -- after murdering Travis? -- and she told him she was going to rent a car. Why? She told him she was already back in CA at that time.
I just have to laugh at Gus Searcy of all people suggesting someone else is grandstanding. And he has the nerve to talk about a prosecutor with decades of law practice. He doesn't need to do any of that. The media-hungry people in this case are Jodi and Gus.
I hope Dr. Drew has Abe on again tonight. It might actually be worth tuning in to see his reaction.
"Well, it's YOUR fog..." - J. Martinez
It is and it should be. But, there is a reason that Jodi doesn't just get to get up on the stand and tell her side, and we're expected to view it as the gospel truth. I believe there is legal reason -- and that is supported by the law -- that new claims and information should be allowed to be cross-examined. Otherwise we are just saying "it's okay if it's not true, just take Jodi's word for it." The judge can legally allow re-cross to address the new claims, but she likely will not.
Yes, Martinez will get to address these things again on rebuttal and in closing arguments, so there is that.

Jodi Arias: Uhmmm....uhhmmm...uhmmm...
The judge is giving Nurmi ANOTHER chance to get this right.
Does the journal actually show any physical evidence of pages being torn out?
Yes, you can see where pages are either ripped in half, or ripped out.
What happened? Last week when Jodi had her attack, Nurmi said that the trial day had to end at 4:30 p.m., "Drop Dead Time". Suddenly it seems it's not that urgent.

Are these new additions to her journal from this weekend??
At times she makes it sound like they were soul mates or something. Gentle kisses, loving![]()
"I am of little use to the world"
