This... and to add. A LOT of religions frown upon premarital sex, so guess what the fact that he was 30 years old and human... I don't give a fuck that he had sex. From what I recall Martinez broached this subject on cross-examination. I think she responded with something a long the lines of: "I was moving to (I think) Monterey to be away from my family so I could kill myself. With that gun. Which I also bought for protection because I was going panning for gold and I was ascared of boys." (Oh sweet irony!)
She also said she was moving away from her family to kill herself because she didn't want to bring shame to her family. As you can see that worked out well for her. :|

I was on a jury once and we reenacted the situation for ourselves and tried to piece it together. They gave us "most" of the evidence and some documents to work with. This was in Oklahoma and not a murder case but I hope that this jury gets to use some of the evidence during deliberation.

There's that great, no nonsense, female prosecutor in Texas, (Dallas, I think) who did just that kind of a demonstration at the trial of a woman who stabbed her husband about 97 times after getting him to let himself be tied up in a sex game. She didn't have a dummy. She just counted it off by pounding on the ledge of the witness box 97 times and counted out loud. It took a long time and she got a conviction. The wife was soft-spoken just like Jodi and the abuse story was similar. I wish I could remember the names.

Jodi was such a bad girlfriend. She set no boundries in her relationship. She didn't express her likes or dislikes, just went along with everything Travis wanted. His likes became her likes. His interests became her interests. It's just so obvious she was trying too hard to be the end all girlfriend to win him over and own him. I had a sister in law like that....she eventually married the bro in law and immediately became a different person. She was no longer eager for sex, she quit all the bad habits they did together (drinking smoking) and insisted he change too. She began to harrass him to lose weigh and exercise to improve his look. She took control of the money and she became a born again. all this winthin the 1st year of marriage. She was acting during the dating period, and after marriage she was able to let her true colors fly.

Christ! I bet that woman was tired after all of that stabbing.. but I hope they do something very much like that to show that this was not self defense... to bring it home. After they have seen the photos multiple times and have heard about it multiple times they could be getting immune to the info.. There is no man on earth that hasn't had thoughts of having a 3-some. Unless we are including asexual men. It is not deviant or unusual. And even if Travis mentioned the idea, it's not like he was having 3-person orgies on a constant basis.

At the risk of tmi -- lol -- I've never had anal. You know why? Because it does not interest me. I've had a bf or two in the past ask about it. I've declined because it wouldn't be something I'd enjoy. And you know what? That was pretty much the end of that. We continued to have healthy, enjoyable sex lives.

I would hazard to guess that very few men -- if any -- have ended a relationship because the woman wouldn't have anal with them. The key word being relationship. Jodi didn't have a relationship with Travis, they were friends with benefits. The talked, they flirted, they took occasional trips together, and Jodi would drive hundreds of miles to have sex with him. Sex that she claims she didn't particularly enjoy at times? Not only is she contradicting herself and her phone sex tape, but she was the one driving to have sex with him. If you don't like it, you don't drive hundreds of miles.

Travis wasn't driving to California to have sex with Jodi, she was driving to Arizona. Travis was not forcing her to do anything, even to be his booty call. She chose to do this, because she thought she could manipulate him with sex. She thought she could create a real relationship, maybe even marriage by using sex.


I'm so sick of this bs. I have barely been watching -- in between doing productive things. It's obvious the defense is screwed. All they keep doing is going back over this stuff, that has already been torn to shreds by Martinez. I hope the jury is as tired of this bs as I am.
