Jodi Ann Arias shot and stabbed her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander to death

just registered. I have questions.

when jodi was describing the linebacker pose,
she was very specific about him turning his head as he lunged.
seems odd that she would remember him turning his head.

then when she did the demo, she turned her head and bent forward.
each time she did it she turned her head exactly the same way.

I take it this is meant to show that the bullet would have entered and
exited in a way that matches the forensics. Is that right?

Did they mention that?

I know she admitted earlier that she made up the ninja story to "comport" with the forensic evidence.

That was before she even had the gun, I think Martinez was just showing how good(unreal) her memory was up until it matters...

I don't believe the rope was ever in the bedroom. There was no reason for her take it with her, except to cover up that she was there at all.

These are some of the questions I've come up with:

How does Travis, who's sitting down in a teeny tiny shower, naked and wet, suddenly stand up to tackle Jodi outside the shower? If he was worried about the camera, wouldn't he have more reasonably leaned out of the shower to catch it?
And, how on earth did that camera move from the shower area (where she claims to have dropped it) to the end of the hallway near the carpeted bedroom to take the dragging pic?
Plus, she wants us to believe she jumped up for a gun in the far corner of a closet, instead of running out the door that was right there?
And, lastly, how do we know he was going to "kill" her? She based her whole reason for shooting him on the incident in August 2007, right? But in that incident, Travis only hugged her?
Lastly, if Travis said anything like "kill you bitch," it was AFTER she shot him, right? Doesn't Travis deserve self defense after being shot?
What bothers me about this whole scenario is that Jodi was able to get away from him several times. If she is to be believed, she had the opportunity to leave, she just didn't take it...she turned the first time into the closet, and then left the closet into the bathroom with the gun and turned around to shoot.

Hell, nothing about her story makes sense to me. It's more believable that she just wanted Travis DEAD, and that's exactly what she accomplished.

I bet Jodi had a beauty bag with her. Or makeup bag-whatever you call them bags. Backpack? She kept all her makeup, KY, and toys in it. Must have been where she kept the knife and gun.
She probably had it in the bathroom because it was said yesterday she took her socks off before walking back into the bedroom. So the bag had to be in there before the killing happened.

I would love to see the texts from that day when she was "lost" and does anyone want to metal detect the whole desert for the gun?

Can you see actually see her foot prints in the carpet at the end of the hall in blood?

I watch it this morning and yes you could see something that looked like footprints.Juan pointed out that Travis could not have done this.The pics are in the 2nd part of the trail yesterday.

Juan was wrong about the shaving she talked about in the Flores interview being that day if his murder. We know she was talking about another day because Jodi Said during the interrogation "I guess he liked the shaving pic i took because he used it as his MySpace profile pic" which is indeed what he has up with comments dating back before that day of his murder. I think the lie Jodi told was actually the part about him being unshaven which hurt her during oral so she told him to stop. That was the lie she told to help make the rope story stick. I wonder if nurmi is on the ball enough to show Travis's MySpace profile shaving pic to rebut Juan's insistence about what she meant.

I think he was trying to impeach her testimony about the rope by connecting it to the shaving pictures.


Back in the day, I lived an hour from where I worked, so I kept a "trolling bag" in the car, so I always had clean clothes and personal items. I often stayed with friends/my ex husband, so I wouldn't have to go home in the wee hours and back to work by 8a. Jodi had to have a bag with the kill items in it.

Beth K made a good point yesterday, she said that Neurmi now has to get Jodi to back off her memory of what happened. He needs her to say that she doesn't remember it clearly, she was speculating for JM. At that point, will JM have to recross her or would it be more beneficial to wait for closing? I believe during closing, he will use all those horrible pictures to drive home what Jodi did to Travis. He is the victim, not Jodi.

2) maybe to show what a detailed liar Jodi is, even making up lies that had no consequence?

I agree with others, about the shaving issue. Jodi had said that, when tied up during oral sex earlier in the day, she asked Travis to stop because his beard stubble was making her sore. And that he'd stopped. Jodi has testified, days ago on direct, that she'd taken the shower pics because Travis wanted to show off his buff bod that he'd worked so hard for. Yet, when she was telling her tale to JM yesterday, she said Travis did not want pics taken....that Jodi had to convince and coax him to do it. She said that Travis went up to shave and she was telling him her ideas and then they did the shower pics. She was trying to say the shaving and shower pics were two different sessions on different days. Then JM brought up that Jodi said Travis had not shaved that day, and she agreed. He then showed the last photo of Travis, freshly shaved. I think he mainly wanted the jury to see that she still cannot keep her stories straight, and is still telling lies.

Well, I hope JM tells us what the point of that shaving/not shaving issue was.

I suspect that it might be another attempt to show premediation.

It seemed like she was mixing the two days together when she was talking to Flores. She's talking about the day she took pics of Travis shaving, which then morphs into a story about how she was talking to Travis while he's shaving and she had to convince him to do the shower pics (which would be June 4th).

I think JM is trying to show that it was Jodi's idea to do the shower pics, despite the fact that she keeps saying it was his idea. If it was her idea, why did she want to do it? Why did she try so hard to convince him to do it? Maybe to get him into a vulnerable position so that she could kill him?

I dunno, just thinking out loud.

I may be wrong, but I believe she did say it was once she got the gun out of the closet, after she was back in the middle of the bathroom, holding the gun, that he entered, lunging toward her low, like a linebacker. She shot him and they both fell to the floor. I thought the same as "cnoevil," that she was deliberately, obviously turning her head to the side in her re-creation in order for her description to line up with the entry of the bullet into the side of his head, the ME's report.

When the whole thing started, after she dropped the camera mid photo shoot, she claimed that he got out of the shower in a rage, picking her up off of her knees and body slamming her, she rolling to her side then getting up running down the hallway with Travis chasing after her.

I agree....nothing she says makes any sense. If she was trying to truly escape him, why not just turn left and exit down the stairs? Why go through the closet? No one would do that. The fight or flight response would be in full gear, and she would have chosen the clearest path to safety. Also, if she HAD shot Travis in head, as she says she did....I highly doubt he would have still been coming at her like a linebacker and screaming "kill you, bitch!" It had passed through his brain, so I'm thinking he would have been unable to put up much of a fight, at all. And the wounds on Travis' body show that he fought like HELL before he died. Jodi is full of crap.

Did Travis' camera have a neck strap? For some reason every time I picture it, it would make perfect sense if she had a neck strap on the camera while she was taking pictures and it was hung around her neck during the killing. This could explain how she had both hands free to be all stabby/fighty, and the camera was either accidentally still on a timer, or accidentally hitting the shutter button during the struggle. If the neck strap was long enough, it would be the perfect height to have taken the dragging photos if Jodi was bent over dragging with it hanging around her neck.
