well, in a way they are right. State went out for the DP, if they don't get it, then technically it is a loss. The whole goal of the def and Jodi all along has been to get the DP thrown so it's what they hope for too.

I did happen to notice as I was scrolling through that there is a picture -- a legal exhibit, #68 -- of knives in the dishwasher. I know someone else had asked about it in the last couple of days, whether police had checked. There's definitely nothing in there bigger than your standard steak knife, and there's no way a steak knife inflicted those wounds.

I feel sure that the jury has at least heard that Jodi was arrested in July of 2008. Where does this idiot think that the jury believed she had been all this time?

I think she might really be crying.. she keeps sniffing up snot and it sounds real. not dry but wet (sorry for being gross). But I do think she is upset. But I think she's really is crying somewhat.. but not as much as she is trying to make them believe.

The first REAL emotion I've seen from this woman. The BS is over, she knows what she did. And I feel sorry for her...NOT because I forgive her one bit for what she did; she destroyed the life of a good and decent man, slaughtered him in cold blood, but because this attractive, bright woman who COULD HAVE lived a positive, fulfilling life, threw her life away for nothing. It's sad, very sad.

She's crying for Jodi. That's the only person who matters to her, make no mistake about that. But she'll be chipper ol' Jodi again on re-direct, count on it.

That can only be a good thing, I can't understand why they're not seeing the bigger picture re an unfair trial, therefore grounds for a mistrial, particularly on appeal.

Thanks for sharing that picture; I had not seen that one before. I think that one on the far right is a butcher knife. I know I have missed alot of testimony, but I don't think the prosecutor has asked her a lot of questions regarding the knife, after she said she thought she put it in the dishwasher. There has be much discussion regarding the gun; the knife not so much. The fact that this is an evidence photo just makes me wonder.

I think that was more tactical than anything. He knew he was almost done with her and didn't want to leave the jury with a last impression he was 'too' difficult.

JM was able to show that Jodi DOES remember more than she said she did... because she said she got the cup that she cleaned Travis' body off with from under the sink. She also apparently remembers the shell casing not landing where it shows in the evidence photos. I'm really looking forward to when he reminds the jury of these things in closing statements

I don't think he will. The pictures show it was only minutes from life to his death, she admits she killed him, so why tread into doubt waters.
