Continuing along the money line, then I'll stop. Travis was renting out two rooms in his house for $450.00 month each. That's $900.00. Was the last rental payments of the tenants ever accounted for? If I was Martinez, I would have dug a lot deeper into the financial transactions between Travis and Jodi Arias and into their each of their respective financial records. But Lawyers aren't Accountants, so they don't see things through that prism. Somewhere in the record, I think in an interview with Flores or maybe in a TV interview, I recall Jodi Arias emphasizing that she wishes or that her life would have been a lot better if she had more financial resources. I think that was a (pathetic) driving force within her considering that her first venture into being a "Real Estate Investor" ended in such a disaster and she lost what little she had ever accumulated.

Maybe they have but noone except a few know? I don't know if that's possible or not, I suppose not as they probably would have had to have already turned over evidence of that if they had it.

Juan is a pro. I'm sure he has looked into his murder and he must sure it won't be an issue. Besides - considering how bloody the scene was - could an accomplice have escaped with no DNA evidence anywhere?

That was her own wallet that Jodi was talking about. She claimed the Ninja guy took the $30.00 she had in it--when he looked into her purse and got her Yreka address off of her car registration slip--but that she had an additional $80.00 cash tucked into the back pocket of her jeans.

Come to think of it. I own a car in California and I don't have 'a wallet sized car registration slip." All I have is that big wonky Certificate of Title and Proof of Insurance card that I keep in the car. Both are larger than wallet-sized. Wonder why Flores didn't catch that right away? Could it be that Arizona DMV issue wallet-size Vehicle Registration Slips and Flores assumed California did the same? Doesn't matter! That scenario has been supplanted by the self-defense, battered woman syndrome lie.

That is rather odd and coincidental that Bobby was murdered mere days before her arrest. However, where my San Diegans at here? Barrio Logan is a known ghetto, with a decent amount of crime. Noting that it was two Latino males that were seen at the scene of the crime, I'd say its a tad far fetched that Jodi was involved. That sounds pretty local to me. Also, I hope he ate at Chewy's before he died. Not a bad last meal, if you have to die.

There is nothing to "cheer" about no matter what verdict is reached.

It means either the prosecuation or the defendant. In this case, I believe the party 001 is the defendant.

well darn ron - i read the police report and the room mate was in travis' bathroom and bedroom all the time, so there is a good chance their dna might have been found and dicsluded because the live there, unless it was mixed w/ blood

The only evidence Jodi left besides the photos were 1 hair, a palmprint and possibly a fingerprint. She got out of there without leaving footprints. So why couldn't a hooded, gloved accomplice have been there and not left evidence?

If we assume that there is some truth in Jodi's lies, where do the Ninja's come from?

But seeing those pictures last night really brought home what this trial is about...I don't know why but I can't stop thinking about those pics. Today is going to be a very sad day, I think

Well. You know that old saying about 'not seeing the forest for the trees.' The police had so much, maybe they didn't dig into that stuff. I will comment that Juan Martinez didn't do that great a job handling the detail about Jodi's purchases--especially gas and Wal-Mart in a way that would have provided more clarity and coherence. It is a simple thing to check with Wal-Mart to determine if the specific gas can Jodi purchased was returned for a refund. Wal-Mart has the largest and most sophisticated system of inventory control on the planet--that's why they are so successful--and every item is logged in and out individually. We all know a return transaction is immediately recorded at the Customer Service Desk. It was all kind of a jumble the way Juan Martinez got so agitated and jumped back and forth. I think he confused the Jury. I know he confused me and I'm kinda trained in detail and I like it. But I offer no criticism. Martinez has a hell of a job. However, 'the Devil is in the details' to quote that old cliche. I'd have put this part together in a much more comprehensive manner; but I wasn't asked; so I'll shut up now.
