I don't want to keep arguing about the shower pics but Justice put it perfectly a few pages back. He was posing in the shower, you can tell from the posey pictures. There were no rags or soap in there with him at this point. Just because people interpret the last picture as a look of surprise or whatever - doesn't mean she jumped out with a knife or gun in hand. People look surprised in pictures all the time. But that's fine, you have your theory and I have mine. I just don't think time allows, from the pose pictures to the death, for her to pretend to leave.

I've read those and have actually changed my mind on it. I am leaning more toward him knowing now. What was written made sense to me. I hadn't thought about it that way.

I'm going on the theory that the "posed" photos were the ones taken of their sexual encounter, which are time stamped about 1:30 in the afternoon. The next set of photos are the ones of Travis, taking his shower. How does anyone know this "photo session" was posed? Because Jodi says so?? Even Martinez doesn't believe Travis was aware that Jodi was creeping outside his shower, taking those pics. That final set of photos were taken a few hours after the first session of the two of them in bed. That is the gap of time I am referring to. That is plenty of time for her to have "left" and snuck back in. And, another huge point.....if he WAS aware of her being there, and a few minutes after that "surprised" shot of him, he is bloodied and being dragged across the tile....why didn't he see the gun or knife she held whilst taking these pics? I would think he would have noticed those, too....if he was posing for the camera?

Why don't we settle this. I think it is safe to assume that Travis was aware that Jodi was taking the pictures. The question is, was he consenting. I think not. I think Jodi just started doing it like she used to do with Darryl Brewer in Palm Desert; playing one of her Jodi games to try to keep the energy going 'cause she Travis wanted her to get out of there. That full face picture looks to me that Travis was annoyed. I don't put it past him to just let her go on for a while, ignoring her, hoping Jodi would just get out of there and finally, when told her to stop, she started the killing.

I don't think it is anything that we will ever be able to settle. There are only two people who know exactly what went down, and one of them is the victim. Jodi will NEVER tell everything. If she did, and we could believe it all, then we would know, but I just don't see that happening.

Sort of like the debate about the gun shot coming first or last. We will never know.

I know this has been debated so many times. I'll just give my opinion again.

I do not believe Travis didn't know she was taking pics of him in the shower. Look at the pics. They are from different angles.

I think she used the shower photo shoot as a way to lure him into a vulnerable position. Premeditation, once again.

ETA: the last photo of Travis looking directly into the camera. I think it is haunting because we know what happened next. It is possible that she pulled out a knife right then too, but who knows. It is also possible that he was making one of his wrinkly forehead expressions. He made that face in a lot of pics. I just don't believe that the look on his face proves he had no idea any of the previous pics were being taken. Just my opinion.

yes - i am sure travis knew she was taking pics and posing - just the fact he has no soap, shampoo or wash rag

........and today, Jodi testified that she has two cameras that are always with her. She's trying to cover her earlier slip-up when she admitted her camera was in the car. Now she'll claim, the one in the car was one of the two.

Ive been listening to Jodi in her police interviews, testimony both direct and cross and now the 48 hour interview and piecing all of the possible bits of truth together.. Her ninja story.
And I think that she did shot Travis first while he was seated in the shower. But, her words in the interview with Flores "he didn't die", and when she said that it was the one time her tone changed and it sounded truthful, she was really fucking surprised he didn't die from that!!
She goes on to say the girl ninja (Jodi) tried to shoot her but the gun jammed.
I think Jodi tried to shoot Travis a 2nd time and the gun jammed then.
At this point she had to find another way to finish him. Ran downstairs, grabbed the knife and came back upstairs.
He possibly crawled to the end of the hallway by this time and she began stabbing him, he was trying to fight her off with what strength he had left. She finally slashed his throat and proceeded to drag him to the shower and begun cleaning the murder up.

There is only about 70 seconds between the last picture of him alive and well in the shower and the picture of her dragging his dead body. It would take more than that entire time for her to run out the room, down the stairs, to the kitchen, get a knife and run back. Nope, no way. Plus a knife is VERY personal, I don't think it is a coincidence that she stabbed him - she intended all those stab wounds.

Also, the Medical Examiner says the gun wound did NOT bleed - that means it was post mortem. I believe the professional much more than all of us attempting to make a guess.
