Here's my theory on the upside down license plate. She thought there was some kind of special CSI automatic license reader on the toll road or bridge she went through and she figured if she turned the plate over it would fool the auto reader.

Could be this. She really thinks she is slick. Just more evidence to add to the pile.

As annoying as it is, and as lost as some people are getting, JM has to show the jury that JA is lying about everything... from small to big. Therefore they cannot believe a word she says and they need to look at the hard FACTS of this case: the premeitation (gas cans, hair dye, weapon stolen, etc), suffering of the victim (defense wounds), and the overkill (shot came last). This is what I think he is doing... it is just taking forever because Jodi is being... well, Jodi... and not answering anything straight. She has to know she is fucked... none of her shit matches up to what the EVIDENCE (including her own words) says. She is hoping that she will either confuse people or charm them. I sincerely hope it's not working...

That's an interesting point. Toll roads definitely have some kind of reader. I know this personally because I rented a car 2 months ago, and being low on gas, I had to get off a toll road where there was no cash-pay option. Two weeks later I got a letter in the mail from Enterprise saying that they were billed 75 cents for the toll and that they would be applying the charge (and a fee) to my credit card.

No kidding! She's driving alone, long periods at night, on some roads she claims she was not familiar with, while being so sight challenged she can't even make out a reflective object, illuminated by her headlights and the parking lot lights, only several feet away? I'm near sighted, moderately so, but I wouldn't think of driving down my own street let alone a freeway without my contacts or glasses on, no way.

No one would pick up a random plate in the parking lot without checking whether it was from their car, i.e. they would check if the back plate matched. I mean how stupid, someone else could've lost their plate, so you take it?

NO! You would check if it was yours, and you would either leave it where you found it, if it wasn't your, or like me, you would go into the Starbucks and give it to them and say "someone must've lost this in your parking lot!"

She obviously turned the plate upside down herself. And she only did it on the back because she didn't want someone who saw her driving away from the crime scene to be able to write her plate number down easily.

on the toll lane it automatically takes pics of all lic plates - sooo..... all the would do is turn the pic around and they could read it - right up there w/ the super secret magazine code

They do. But if she was wearing contacts and didn't tell them during the eye exam it would t specify on her license that she had to be wearing glasses.
