I agree. I said it yesterday but I think that she is missing the brunch at the jail because of the court time. I saw somewhere that they serve "brunch" at 11, in which case she is already in court. Then not supplying her lunch. That means that she is going all day without food until dinner. (If this is the case). I know that if I try doing that, I would pass out. Bitch or not, if she is in your custody, you need to feed her.

exactly - it says when you are going to court - they wake them up at between 3 and 4 am, give them breakfast - then they sit in a holding cell for 5 hrs waiting for court - and they don't eat again til the return - it just seems silly to have all these "strict rules" for inmates that haven't been found guilty yet - all it does is give so many extra reasons to file an appeal - which ends up costing the state way more money than letting them sleep and giving them a sandwich during court

She didn't confess to 1st degree murder, she "confessed" to self defense. The state has to prove it wasn't self defense. The jury could technically find her not guilty of murder because it was self defense. Don't count on it though.

IMO there are some ppl that a life sentence is a better punishment than the DP. A few examples are Drew Peterson, Susan Smith, & Casey Anthony (had she been convicted). They basically killed to rid themselves of what they considered obstacles that kept them from doing what they wanted to do. Depriving these types of individuals from the freedom to pursue happiness and having to live the rest of their days being told when they can eat, shit, and sleep is the ultimate justice. However, in JA's case, because she is so fucked in the head that she appears to happily thrive like a cockroach wherever, life in prison wouldn't really be a punishment for her. I say juice the goofy bitch!

i would agree if it was for ppl who were already found guilty, but its for the ppl awaiting trial or during trial who couldn't afford bail, and gives their attorneys to many reasons for appeals which costs the states a ton of money and cloggs up the court system
