I agree. She looks almost nothing today like she did 5 years ago. She looks at least 140 in that pic due to height. Fit and healthy. A couple inches shorter than Travis - if that.

Yeah, I think it's normal to lose weight in jail, especially with the stress of the impending trial, but it certainly works to her advantage...

I often find myself hoping the jury is astute enough to pick up on these things.

Oh man. Jinkasaurus on HLN said the juror's questions could take a day! that would be crazy. I'm trying to imagine the questions they jury would have for Jodi. And obviously she has to answer THEIR questions without combativeness, right?

That's too scary for me. Takes me way, way, way, back to a time when food deprivation (starvation) was a weapon of war employed by the monsters we defeated. Ask me about that another time. It would be a great new thread. Just give her an 'effen peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk during the 90 minutes while we're having lunch and waiting for her to get back on the stand.

The height difference is quite negligible from the pictures shown. It also shows Jodi to be a healthy woman with very much an hourglass figure. No chance that she was only 125lbs at that time. She wasn't gaunt or boney, she was very fit.

If you look at the picture, she has the beginning of a muffin top. She definitely wasn't a waif then. I think she looks really pretty in this picture.

She definitely has. She looks frail now. I can see how Ron would think she couldn't murder Travis the way she is NOW, then she was in great shape.

I didn't get that whole thing either. So, she didn't know that anal and oral sex were bad but she thought flirtatious emails were crossing a line? And she thought these emails were crossing a line before she and Travis had gone all the way and she didn't think to ask about the Church's standards for premarital sex until AFTER she and Travis had done it? I knew that kissing/fooling around were off limits to Mormons even when I was in high school and that was well before I'd ever met a Mormon. That's not even a slightly believable story. If you're going to make up such elaborate stories you'd think that they'd at least be believable!

How many think that Jodi Arias is finished, done, kaput? I think she hit the breaking point today and realized that her life is a total mess. Even she doesn't believe the B.S. anymore but doesn't have anything to replace it. She should be put on suicide watch.

Hi, Everyone: I just wanted to post a reply to say hello. I joined not too long ago, but have been lurking in this thread for many weeks (trying to catch up to ya'll). It's been very hard! Every time I thought I'd caught up, there would be 20 more pages to go through. Anyway, I really hope to be able to join the conversation now and then, if the situation arises. I know I've wanted to respond many times over the past few weeks, but the pages were old, and there wasn't much use in it. You all are doing an amazing job of keeping me up to date on the trial, mirroring a lot of my own impressions of what's going on in the courtroom. I am also watching daily on Azfamily. I can appreciate the intelligence here (which is more than I can say for most of the people over on Insession's Facebook page, who drive me crazy!).

Anyhoo, my name is Sarah. I go by Cricket as a nickname. I am a Michigander who was a paralegal for many years. I am now retired or on sabbatical, whatever you want to call it - lol. I became interested in this case years ago when it happened. It was a horrific, brutal murder and, after watching the 48 Hours episode, I was very curious about Jodi's story. Of course we now know it was untrue, but back then, it appeared believable to me...mainly because she told the story so convincingly.

There are people on here who believe Jodi may be borderline. I actually have a borderline in my life...my own sister...she has also been diagnosed as bipolar 1. My relationship and experience with her has given me some insight into some of Jodi's mannerisms and interactions with Travis and others, as well as her posture on the stand. My sister and Jodi are a lot alike, although I don't believe Jodi has bipolar. I am not an expert by any means, and realize Jodi has never been diagnosed with anything. I just see some of the same behavior in her that I've seen in my sister over the years.

I know lots of people hate him, and that's fine. But, I really doubt he is treating Jodi any differently than he treats all of the other prisoners. Yes, she should get a lunch. Who knows the real reasons she hasn't been. But, we are talking about a missed lunch. It's not like she's being water boarded every day. Jodi believes she is special and should be treated accordingly. Eff her. Travis will never enjoy a meal ever again. She needs to quit being a frigging drama queen.

(I realize this is an unreasonable stand point, but at the moment I am speaking from emotions....not logic. I'm just sick of everything about Jodi at the moment.)

Judge did say the sheriff's office will be supplying her lunch from now on. Sheriff Joe has a strict policy about lunch and prisoner's transport to trials. See the link
