It's difficult to dx with such limited information (IMHO) but we know she had no history of illegal activity. I worked for a couple of years in forensic psychiatry where most of the work is ferreting out deception, especially prior to adjudication. I am still on the fence with borderline but don't think she is sociopathic. She isn't smooth enough. Histrionic personalities are usually very dramatic so I ruled that out. Narcissistic personality is quite inviting, given her body consciousness (ie, taking a million pictures of herself) and constantly fishing for compliments. There is no doubt that she has a cluster b personality ( sigh). Thoughts?

So, basically Juan has spent a good part of the morning establishing that Jodi (gasp) SNOOPED ON HER BOYFRIEND'S PHONES!! I agree. Her attitude right now is completely against what the defense is trying to argue. That she was some poor abused woman who wasn't strong enough to get out of the relationship or stand up for herself. Right now, even though she's saying it's hard to answer JM's questions when he's confrontational she's not shaking or crying or showing any signs of feeling traumatized; she's getting an attitude and talking back. Her actions are not in line with her words and the jury is now seeing it first hand.

I really hope they are smart and see what we are all seeing.

i have to say, i am prone to side with ron on the whole she's too little thing. based on my experiences, even a small man can generally overpower an average size girl. i've said over and over that i believe this, and i seriously side-eye all the tiny girls on this forum who honestly believe that they gain super-hero strength just because they're angry or scared. i've been there, and it didn't happen...

what ron refuses to take into account is all the factors that gave her the upper hand... he's wet, naked, slippery and unsuspecting. she's clothed and wearing slip resistant shoes. she's also got a gun and a knife. she could have stabbed him when his back was turned or when her was drying his hair. she could have got him bad enough right off the bat so that all his energy was being used to simply survive and escape while she continued to go at him.

ron - you're dead wrong about the dragging though. dragging heavy things that aren't moving is easy. it's physics.

I feel like I am watching somebody that adapts well to her surroundings, but never quite fits in. It's almost like she hates everybody and everything. I'm not sure she ever experiences real emotions. I think most people would be slumped in their chair listening to their sex life play out- but I really don't think it bothers her.

I think I love you! I ruled out histrionic a while back..yes narcissistic personality is looking a bit more likely and as you said it is really hard to dx with limited info. I specialize in both antisocial and borderline (yes I am a loon!) and I do see both disorders very present. I think with her it is the environment now that is making the antisocial more likely at this point in time but narcissism can be very entwined with antisocial...just my thoughts.
