Let's keep in mind, JM is ONE person. He is not going to catch everything. I hope he has people watching this for him and giving him hints/slip ups/pointers on breaks, but he is the ONLY one up there questioning her. There are going to be things that slip by him. I still think he is doing a pretty decent job of bringing out the real Jodi, showing her for what she is, and working on proving all the lies she has told on the stand.

It's not that bad... He is testifying that Travis didn't have weapons, abd would borrow his when they all went shooting. If you own guns, you take at least some of them when you go. If you own ONE, you would take that ONE. Instead he would borrow friends... I actually wonder if somewhere on that video it shows Travis saying he doesn't have any... now THAT would be great.

He showed the video on HLN to show that Travis was gun-knowledgeable and also discussed how he was with Travis a week before he was killed. He said that if Travis had purchased a handgun, he would have told Dave about it. His point also was that Travis would not have owned that caliber of gun either.

I'm not worried about the video or his testimony at all...

well I'm just playing the role of juror on this one. But if anyone brought out assault rifles to me on a hand gun case I'd think wtf, big difference.
But then ... Dan could always explain why anyone would have a gun with no ammunition to use it like Arias wants the jury to believe. ;)

I'm not sure how I feel about Dan testifying. I know he will say that Travis didn't own a gun, but by all accounts a .25 is a "girly" gun which no one would bring to a shooting range anyways so the defense could argue that if Trav owned one, he wouldn't tell Dan about it.

It's also not a common caliber for a male to choose as his ONLY choice of weapon. I know it's possible, but add to that that he never told anyone he had a weapon (not something that should be bragged about - since it is there for your protection), and there was no ammo, no extra magazines, no gun cleaning kit... NOTHING to support her claim at all that the gun was his. Since he did know about guns, it is unlikely that he would have chosen it as his only means of protection. It's WAY too much of a coincidence that a .25 goes missing from her grandparents and a .25 was used to kill him. It's not THAT common of a caliber (it's up there, but it would be more likely if it were a 9mm or something a little more common). Either way - she takes a stolen gun with her (helps show premeditation) Murder 1... OR she steals the gun from his house after killing him - Felony Murder. Either eay - she's fucked.

Every time the judge overrules Nurmi, he puckers his lips like a smacked arse, always makes me laugh. Also noticed Willmott smiling when Jodi was sparing with Juan, seems she likes it when her client does that, not sure how that will play with the jury if they notice it.

Their behaviour's pathetic, considering the nature of this trial. Both Wilmott and Nurmi have had the 'proud parent' look about them a few times when they thought their girl got one over Juan, fools.

I'm still wondering if anyone caught the DT turning round sharply towards the gallery behind them at one point, as if someone called out. Anyone?
