So I haven't even made a dent in the comments, but let me say this: I've watched both parts 1 and 2 of when Martinez started his cross-examination. My boyfriend and I both commented on her attitude towards answering the questions.

I have said many times in the past that I'm a high school teacher. Jodi's behavior when she's in cross-examination is exactly like the girls with attitude who try to use semantics to get out of the fact that they were texting on their phones when they shouldn't, or try to argue with me when they're in trouble. Jodi is rolling her eyes, shifting her hands, saying things like, "Okay I guess." I noticed immediately after she said, "Only when guys like you are screaming at me." that Martinez got that sickly polite tone to his delivery and she couldn't hear him, but her demeanor remained the same. He totally did that on purpose.

Let's say that I didn't know the facts of this case and I was a jury member. I know I would have to be impartial, but it would be very difficult to watch her cross-examination and not think of the snotty girls at school that try to get out of lectures by using eye rolls and attitude. You don't have to be aggressive to come off as a complete snot.

I agree her demeanor is against her. I hope it isn't distracting the jurors from paying attention to the details Juan is bringing out.

We aren't the jury and he is all over the place. Now I can take the weekend and figure it out but the jury can't. For instance, he spends a lot of time on so when did you sleep but never goes to the simple point of her own testimony on direct, she was "no more than 10 mins from the house" when she turned around and called Travis.
Records show 16 mins later she is still calling him again. If she was back at the house catching him be pedo, why not go there first, then move on to sleeping lies.

Maybe he will bring it all back in line but my concern is- this was his style in his CIC and many were complaining they were having trouble following him along.

One part of me wants to write down the scientific proof that Jodi's body could have handled attacking Travis the way she did to show Ron (and all other doubters) that she was capable.

I agree on the 5:27:18 being when he realized she was there taking pics. That is the sheer terror photo to me. So in looking at the time progressions the way the pics are laid out just blows her story of the dropped camera and he charged out of the shower after her right out of the water. Last pic of his body with the legs crossed at 5:30:30 and the next pic is 5:31:14 which is only about 45 seconds later and there is blood spattered all over in that pic on the baseboard and wall or whatever that is. There is no way he chased her she ran into the closet, climbed up the shelving and got the gun and he chased her back into the bathroom and charged at her and then the gun went off and she didnt even know if she had shot him. That is total bullshit because all of that could not have happened and there be blood all over like that in less than a minute. The way she said it happened is impossible. And there is now way 1 minute and 2 seconds after the first blood photo is the dragging him down the hall pic that she did not know he was dead. Fucking lying dirty ho bitch, I cant wait until Juan starts exposing all the lies and he WILL be able to prove it too.

yup, this bitch was crazy. Tied her husband up pretending it was going to be some sexy time. Started stabbing him, their child heard the commotion, she stopped stabbing him, put her robe on, and put her child back to bed. She came back and finished him off with a few dozen more stab wounds. I believe most of the stab wounds were on the face and neck.

Now it's coming out she certainly had assistance on the periphery. But as far as getting her hands bloody, it only comes down to one person. And if Matt the wonder putz WAS there, the crime scene would have been botched up even more. Only two people could do it right, they were in a great movie and they used rope.

I don't think Jodi would intentionally try to get pregnant. I don't think she wanted kids at all. That would pull the attention away from her. I think having a baby would change her dream lifestyle too much.

I think if Jodi could get pregnant, she would have done so in a heartbeat, used that to force Travis to marry her and then had another minion to do her bidding and help control Travis for the rest of his life, while also basking in the glory of whatever wonderful things her spawn did. "Understanding the Borderline Mother" is an excellent book for understanding what kids with moms with BPD can go through.

I don't think Jodi can get pregnant since she didn't use this trap. I think if she's claimed she doesn't want kids, it's because she knows she can't have them.

There were 8 pre-murder sex photos recovered from the camera. I think there were 15 (?) total photos retrieved from the SD card. 1 was the ceiling and 2 were inadvertent during the attack.

This is not some giant hulked-up woman, so where did she get the strength to lift 2,000 pounds? Adrenaline of course. Someone lifting 2,000 pounds is incredible and difficult to imagine, but it happens. Jodi trapping Travis in the shower and murdering him is not very hard to imagine.

A thought just came into my head. It seems that embedded in Jodi's elaborate lies are kernels of truth.

She has said many times that Travis got mad at her when she dropped his camera. I think that is a kernel of truth.

I think he thought she left, and then while he was in the shower, he eventually discovered she was standing there taking pictures of him. Then she started at him with the knife, and in the midst of that moment, he was super pissed, and she dropped his camera.

But in her version, in which she is always the victim, the story is that Travis got mad at her. She leaves out that he has very good reason at that point to be completely enraged at her.
