From what I've heard, once the jury goes into deliberations they can decide whether they feel like her lies have been proven by the prosection and then they decide what parts of her testimony they won't use to deliberate, which could be all of it. I thought Nurmi did a fabulous job yesterday. Yes, I said Nurmi. He was able to objects at just the right moment to give Jodi a chance to calm down. He was also taking his time reading the evidence stuff to slow JM down. If Nurmi wouldn't have done that-I really believe Jodi would have went right off the tracks. That girl has a lot of anger in her. JM knows that and he is trying to expose it. Nurmi has a hard battle with Jodi, but he is trying.
JM is dealing with a known liar. She's been practicing her lies for years. His first approach yesterday was brutal, but I really think that's the only way you can approach a liar like Jodi. It has to be fast and hard. I was scared at first that JM was going to jump all into the evidence with no clear timeline going on. I slowly realized that he struck fast-then slowly started to lay everything out in order. He hit with Jodi's dumb sister first b/c when she made that statement-it was one of the only times we seen real emotion from her. He wanted her to be pissed off right from the beginning. LOL

agreed, those two magazines were in discovery for a long time..They have been gone over with a fine tooth comb. why does the def act like it the first time they saw them? To give the lying whoredom more time to collect her thoughts,remember all the different scenarios that they have been practicing for months etc. She has been coached for anything possible my super hero juan can/will throw at her. Her answers should be 2nd nature.

I thought Nurmi was a bit asleep at the wheel, Juan used the "peeping" comment 3 times and Nurmi finally objected at the 3rd time, I just assumed he didn't catch the other times. Nurmi and Willmott have known about the journals and the mags for a long time...as soon as Jodi took the stand and testified (opening doors left right and center) they had to know they were coming in, maybe they thought they could object and keep them out but I imagine the once Jodi testified to certain things then by law that meant other things to impeach her would be coming in.
I think Jodi has been coached and been coached a lot but I guess that Nurmi and Willmott did not have the time or the inclination to crosscheck what her testimony was going to be to what was in phone records, journals, past hearings etc. and that it was going to be able to be contradicted. It looked at times as if they thought she was doing a good job then at other times as if they were in deep shit.
I think the most damaging thing that he didn't object to was when JM said "before you drove to AZ to kill Mr. Alexander".
Yeah, he did, his lips were so puckered at one point it looked like he suck on a pail full of lemons.
I don't think they can force someone like Jodi to keep her story straight. She wanted to testify, there's only so much they can do. When you're shoulder deep in shit, there's only so fast you can try to dig yourself out
I think nurmi took his time with the mags because he hasn't seen them in awhile and be bad to make sure no one added anything to them and they were just as he rmembered.
As far as sex and Jodi goes (can't seem to quote from my phone) I think for Jodi sex = love. She would rather be Travis's bitter butt toy than be just a friend. If she's giving it away and he's taking what she's given she think he cares for her more than just as a FWB.
Maybe somewhere in her life she had daddy issues and that why her vagina was always open. But that doesn't explain her unhealthy obsession with Travis.

Sidenote, hubs has a 9mm has shown me several times how to load, unchamber, remove magazine etc. I never remembered until I actually had to do it myself (classes). She is full of chit!
