I'm assuming they were confiscated, she had to have known. Especially since her lawyers knew exactly where to look for things.

    Duh, how else.
At first I though Ann Campbell might have been a turncoat and provided; Dr. Drew referred to her as Hodi's previous lawyer. The media really is not playing close attention, like when they refer to Travis' apartment.

I wonder how many they missed prior to catching these? Enough for Matt to write the pedo letters a couple years ago? I think that is why he needed a lawyer, but why would he hire Jodi's public defender Vicotria Washington.

She spent the night on Matt's floor - what a gentleman! I remember people saying Travis always gave his bed to guests and he slept on the couch.

Of course she tried to cover that up by saying she had to go over to Salinas to catch the 101 to go south (to L.A.). I don't know that route very well. (Used to do it on from the Bay Area decades ago). Seems convoluted. One of you sleuths will figure it out for the rest of us before Monday.

Re: the salon in Salinas, that would be awesome if the person that did her hair saw this on TV and came forward - long shot though.

Hey, did anyone notice a woman giving a note to the guard in court today? I thought it was really odd.

Yes, it was disgusting. She thought she scored but it made me hate her all the more. Her mom and aunt had quite a few laughs today too. So i got curious how those two are affording their lengthy stay during the high priced snowbird season. Looked up arias on dexonline, sandra, william, cartlon, angela at this modest address, about like the grandparents:

maybe they took out an equity loan, looks like there is a bit of appreciation there. looks like a godforsaken place, quite a step down from Monterey, Big Sur, Palm Desert. No wonder she wanted to travel out of there.

I really want to know how the Arias family would feel if it were their family going through this and someone murdered and slaughtered one of their own and told 3 different stories then stuck with "self-defense". Answer me this Arias family, answer me this!

    Jodi's diary from jail!

    Entry #11

    February 21, 2013

    Dear Diary,

Wow. Just WOW. I cannot even believe how awesome I was in court today. I had Martinez on the run. You should have seen me. I could tell the jurors were really impressed with how witty and clever I was. I could not keep a smirk off of my face. I may not be a lawyer, but I know the law. And I know that when you break a law you do everything you can to keep from getting punished for it. Especially, um, lying. I am an expert at that. Martinez was so confused by me today. I was able keep the questions going round and round. The smirking was my way of letting the jury know just who was in charge.

I have to say, the lessons Gus gave me are really paying off. He told me just how to handle Martinez. Or as Gus likes to call him, Fartinez. Isn't Gus just hilarious?!? I cannot get over how smart he is. He is an inventor you know. No wonder he can invent these amazingly clever words too. Maybe I will call Martinez "Fartinez" in court. I will have the jury laughing their heads off. Heads off. There is a funny, um, turn of phrase! lol I will admit that I do not look forward to, um, paying Gus for his expert advice. Let's just say that it involves more than a little KY Jelly and quite a few Toblerones.

Speaking of KY Jelly, they have not responded to my request to be a spokesperson for them. This is something they are going to really regret. I will not be ignored. I am going to start a class action lawsuit against them. I am going to claim that the overuse and consumption of KY Jelly has caused me severe selective memory problems. Then I will contact the ADA. I plan on getting a special card describing my specific memory disability. The next time Martinez asks me a question I don't want to answer, I will just hand him the card.

I was a little bummed that Flores figured out my super secret code messages in the magazine. I bet he had to have the FBI help him with that. I am working on a new secret code in case these diary entries ever get leaked out. I-a think-a that-a my-a new-a code-a will-a never-a, ever-a, be-a able-a to-a be-a cracked-a. ha ha ha Good luck deciphering that code!

Well, as always, my date card is overflowing. I am the most popular girl here. Obviously. I have found amazing and creative ways to use the items we get from commissary to fulfill all my sexual fantasy needs. Who knew nose drops, denture adhesive, and hemorrhoid cream could be so sexy and fun! Not to mention the old standbys like meat sticks and chap stick. Tonight I am going to mix things up a bit with the ben gay cream and bbq corn nuts. Things are about to get hot in here!!

    Till next time,
    Jodi

Can someone list all the possible outcomes from this trial, in terms of charges?

I know there can be a hung jury, which would mean she could be tried again.
Then there could be an acquittal - which would mean what exactly in this case (I'm confused because she admitted she killed him in self-defense)?
And then what are the other options?

right now its - hung trial, guilty of murder1 - felony murder 1 - as far as lesser charges, we don't know yet - it depends on if the judge decides to add lesor charges for the jury to consider based on the trial - if the jury decides it was self defense then yes - its not guilty, aquitted and she walks

if everyone on the jury is blind/deaf to jodi and she walked, could you imagine what would happen if she found this thread and read it word for word

Thanks, so that would mean that the most important thing for the prosecution to prove is that this was not self-defense and that there was premeditation. I would think that everything that Juan does, whether in direct or cross, is geared to these two major points, then.

With Jodi, his cross of her makes more sense if you think of it this way- try to imagine that you need to verbally express your argument about something, but you can't use your own voice- you have to get a person who lies about everything and will deny every piece of truth that you want to say to do your talking for you.

Juan's arguments are coming out through Jodi's mouth now, and she is fighting him every single second of the way.

I got the thought that he could be setting her up to show more when he gets re-direct and calls people she has used in her never ending web of lies to say, no that never happened and drive the final points home right before the jury deliberates

EXCLUSIVE: Friend recalls last meeting of Travis Alexander and Jodi Arias in public

    GOODYEAR, AZ (CBS5) -

One of Travis Alexander's former co-workers tells CBS 5 News she and her colleagues may have been the last people to see him together with Jodi Arias before his death in June of 2008.

Julie Christopher worked with Pre-Paid Legal Services, now LegalShield, in 2008. Alexander and Arias also worked with that company.

Christopher is not on the state's witness list in the Arias case. Nor was she ever interviewed by Mesa police or Maricopa County prosecutors working the case.

"We should have all gone to Travis and said, 'get rid of her,' you know" said Christopher about Arias. She had worked with Alexander for several years and came to know Arias through him.

She says Arias and Alexander never held hands together or came off as a couple. However, as someone who has spent time around him she knew that they had developed a relationship. She says she never got a good vibe from Arias.

"I remember thinking that girl looks like a zombie," Christopher said. "She was a weird person to be around."

Several weeks before Alexander's death, Christopher, Alexander and Arias attended a business conference in Tempe at the Embassy Suites hotel with close to 200 others.

Following that conference, a smaller group, that included Alexander, Arias and Christopher dined at the restaurant inside the hotel.

"When she was sitting next to me at that event, she goes 'he changed my life, he changed my life. He's so amazing' and then she keeps on taking pictures," Christopher said. "She (Arias) was like, totally obsessed with Travis."

Alexander had told Christopher that he had broken things off with Arias.

"He said, 'no, no. I'm done with her. This is not my girlfriend. This is not the kind of girlfriend I want,'" said Christopher.

Christopher says Arias told her that she knew Travis had broken things off and had intended to move back with her grandparents in Northern California.

"I can't be in Arizona if I'm not his girlfriend," said Arias to Christopher. "She says, 'I'm going back. I love him too much. I can't be with him just being his friend. If I'm not his girlfriend than I can't be around him.'"

Alexander also told Christopher he planned to bring another woman with him on an upcoming work-related getaway to Cancun, Mexico.

It was in Cancun when Christopher got word about Alexander's death.

"I looked at my husband and said, 'It's Jodi.' I just knew it. But not just me. Everybody knew it," said Christopher.

As she watches the trial unfold, she says Arias' description of Alexander is the exact opposite of how he really was.

"The picture she is painting. It's not Travis. It's not possible," she says. "I never saw Travis mad. At any point. Never upset."

"She becomes someone else and she has all this facade. And she plays that role. This is what's so spooky. She believes her lies."

Lol! A zombie with scary shark eyes.

Wow, so many people went right to her when they heard of his death. I can't believe she has slandered his name so badly just to make herself look good. (Or better) What is so sad is that when she was being questioned by defense I actually felt sorry for her and thought "What if all this is actually true?", but JM is already doing an amazing job proving that she's full of shit. It's just sad...I'm sad for him and his memory.

Today was a crazy clusterfuck. I was pleased to see Jodi trip over herself and sport a 'tude, lets hope the jury doesn't like it. JM was guns blazing all day, but the constant side bars and lulls were meh. Overall I think JM is winning, but we need more. More dirt on JA, more nooses to hang herself with, so to speak.

Can't destroy a sociopath inside, they have little in there. She's loving to spare thinks she is owning the show. So busy playing 'you will never catch me' she can't even see in reality, she is proving she is a heartless angry smartass capable of of anything to 'win' ... including murder.

    Love our JUAN day!

As long as he is on Matt, I thought a part of her murder testimony from the other day was very interesting. For someone who wants to use and demand from others precise words she say about Matt in relation to her time in the desert, 'until he was THERE'. Not just didn't answer, not a time or ten thousands lattes of where Matt was that he miss her call but THERE almost as if she is meaning on his way or there with her in the desert?

Nurmi now after you have cleaned yourself up and you dispose of the gun and the rope what do you do next.

Arias I um, I started looking around for um, the charger that I didn't, that I thought I'd left because matt hadn't answered his phone until he was there.
I started cleaning out the car and it was under the seat of the passenger side. so I plugged it in, I turned on my phone, there was no reception
there was, as I began to drive some reception came like one little bar then two and then one and then none.
and I had um, I think I had voice mails I kept trying to check them but the reception wasn't strong enough to
    complete the call

I remember watching the first shit show on Jodi back on Dateline or 48 hrs and it was the first I saw or heard of this.....and I remember thinking, this bitch committed a malice and calculated murder and she is a complete demon. I didn't buy shit from the get go and I knew no details yet because it was before anything was known. Nothing has changed except I hate her even more and know for sure this was premeditated beyond belief.
