This entire thing happened because Travis wanted oral sex, butt sex, eventually vaginal sex, and preyed on a mentally ill woman who didn't have the mental faculties to just walk away.

Why are you assuming she is mentally ill? Has she been diagnosed?

I'm sure she has some mental problems. But, there is a big difference between not knowing right from wrong -- like brutally murdering a person -- and not caring that you did it or thinking the person you murdered had it coming. It's not that Jodi didn't understand that killing Travis was wrong, it's that she thinks it's not her fault, he "made" her do it.

I don't see anyone canonizing Travis, but he is not on trial here. Jodi is the killer. Regardless of what anyone thinks of him, Travis was the victim here, not Jodi. Travis didn't deserve to be murdered.

And I can't really see you as seeing both sides. You are constantly deriding Travis as if he was some kind of outrageously horrible person. If every guy that used a woman for sex deserved to be murdered, we'd lose about half the male population of this country alone.

Travis wanted anal sex and oral sex. But Travis didn't MAKE Jodi do it. Jodi chose to do it. Jodi had absolutely NO problem moving on from one man to the next. If she didn't enjoy what she was doing with Travis, she could have moved on to the next guy.

I am going to make a claim and stake my life on it. She willingly creates situations with other men to make it look like they are the abuser, aggressor, neglectful, cheater, etc. and she is the "innocent" but JUSTIFIED person for anyone on the outside looking in.
