I think the defense is going to try to delay it. They said they needed time to review the exhibit they were given right before break. I didn't hear what the judge told them, though. I thought she might have said they had until the end of the lunch break, but I am not sure.

About Jodi's eyeglasses, I am in no way defending her but I do not know why this is such an issue. In 2010, there was a court order for her to go to Lion to get her eyes examined for eyeglasses. I am sure this is when she started wearing glasses. Now, the wearing different styles at different times, I do not know, but I do not think the denfense just decided to slap some prescription eyeglasses that were not even hers on her just to make her look smarter, meeker or whatever.

I remember seeing that earlier in this thread. I am pretty sure JM won't bring this up with her in cross since he knows about this. Someone on InSession was saying that it would not be a good idea for JM to bring it up in cross but to wait until closing statements so that she can't and defense can't refute. I don't think he should bring it up at all. Its so minor in comparison to everything else.

Her hair pulled off to the side, secured in a ponytail with a little plush band (the kind my daughter wore in kindergarten and early elementary years) as well as bangs, adds to that image of wide-eyed innocent Jodi......the one they want the jury to believe was submissive and beaten down, and incapable of stabbing a man 28 times, slash his throat from ear to ear, and shoot him in the head before leaving him for dead in his bathroom shower.

Yeah, those gold glittery frames didn't go with the image they wanted. The one's she's been wearing the last couple of weeks were probably bought for the trial.

My opinion, which no one has to agree with, is that BOTH of them created this train wreck. He died for encouraging sex with her, her life is over for agreeing to it.

Except, I don't think Jodi was this naive girl who was led to sex by Travis. Instead, it seems he was the one led to sex by her.

I don't know if Travis was really a virgin prior to Jodi. But, there haven't been any women who have stepped up and said that they have had sex with Travis. Only Jodi.

As hard as it may be to believe that a healthy, 30-year-old man was a virgin (prior to Jodi), we have no proof that he was not.

We do know that Jodi was not a virgin at all though, prior to meeting Travis. She'd had something like 5 or so boyfriend's prior to him and at least some of them (Darryl for sure) have stated that they had sex with Jodi; including the anal sex that we're supposed to believe Travis introduced Jodi to.

From all accounts that I can see, Jodi used sex to manipulate Travis and try to establish/keep a relationship with him. No, he didn't resist her. But that doesn't mean he was the leader and she was the follower. She knew she was giving him something that other girls he dated didn't and wouldn't.

He did exercise some bad judgment in not cutting her loose completely and having nothing to do with her, but he tried. She responded by slashing his tires and writing some crazy note to the girl he was dating.

Yes, he did keep coming back for the sex; an unwise decision no doubt; but he was not in control, Jodi was.

That's because people over 40ish, who wear Rx glasses/lenses for distance, can read fine (no "reading glasses" needed), simply by taking off, looking over their Rx glasses. Jodi is 32, not in need or reading glasses for sure. And at her age, if she needs glasses for distance, she wouldn't need to take them off to read.

I think for young people it depends on how near sighted they are. I live with a bunch of near sighted people. I have seen all of them take their glasses off to read. My husband wears contacts where one lens is for distance and the other for up close. She may have worn contacts prior to jail. She has a lazy eye and is normally treated with glasses when a child is young. She probably didn't have proper eye care as a child and probably does need glasses as her wonky eye has poor vision.

Anyway, I've watched about 6 trials and I've seen a prosecutor get close to a witness, usually pertaining to handing them something back and forth, just like we saw today. As to how you've characterised it, that's not what I'm seeing. Think you're being a bit over dramatic.
