OMG. I was just updating my blog with pictures and such....and part of Jodi testimony stuck out.

I wrote this in my recap

EX 166- He wanted a picture of them having sex. He wanted Jodi to put it on a timer. She couldn't figure it out. (she' a professional)
EX 167- another attempt.

When Nurmi showed EX 167- it was right after he showed 166 and Jodi was explaining about failed attempts to tie up and set timers. I didn't see the picture in court, but they moved on fast.

EX 167 was the DUCT TAPE.

Was she saying the Duct Tape was another failed attempt at tying up for sex?

In Jodie's testibalony today she was asked if she brought a gun or knife with her from Pasadena - If you're into body language and have watched her testify you'll note she has a baseline when answering "Yes" and "No" questions.

To the gun question-- She looks at the jury and says no with a definite nod (head nods usually mean yes, head shake side to side mean no)
To the knife question-- She maintains eye contact with Nurmi and won't look at the jury and says no with a tiny little nod

I watched her testimony throughout this day and normally when she is answering "Yes" to a question it is accompanied by that nod she does. When she answers "No" to most other questions (when I don't think she is lying) she will give a little head shake side to side.

Remembering her interviews with Det Flores she does a lot to distance herself from any association with a knife.

2. If she was a murderer she couldn't stab someone, she would have to shoot them

Very interesting elamir...she totally DID "nod". I definitely agree with body language and those micro-expressions. ESPECIALLY with Jodi, since she is always so calm, calculated and articulate. Then today, low and behold she says "the front door was locked she she went around the side and came in from the backyard"

I guess why this is bugging me is because one of the unanswered questions for me is did Travis know she was coming? And if he knew, what pretext did she use on him as the reason why she wanted to see him, one that would make him feel comfortable enough to let a this crazy bitch into his house so late at night/early morning?

Arias totally avoids answering if Travis knew she was coming, so much so that Det Flores asked her multiple times-she later on says that yes, he knew, they talked. My thoughts....she told him she was giving him the money for 2 mths payment on the BMW and/or told him she had compromising pictures of him on the CD's and wanted to give them back to him. She had to offer him something pretty compelling for him to allow her into his home at that point and I don't believe it was simply a sexually reason.

How about this idea? She has the info on a disk that he had asked for. She had told him she was going on road trip which conveniently makes Mesa between So Cal and Utah. She calls him on the road and says I have stuff you asked for but I'm super tired can I stay at your place. She's so sweet and tired he lets her sleep in his bed. They wake up. Only started following the case after the prosecution's case wrapped up, so a little behind on some of the details. Have a question regarding the bedsheets.

Did JM argue that JA did in fact drag him down the hallway on the bedsheet? If so, how did she manage to get into the bedroom after the killing, walk over the carpet without tracking the blood she had to have been covered in? She couldn't have taken them off before the murder, anticipating TA would flee down the hallway. Maybe she carefully removed her shoes and socks before entering?

I believe Flores/the crime scene people testified that the only blood found in the bedroom was a bit of splatter on the doorway, and the large, dried pool found at the entrance (where she slit his throat?). And did she actually do two loads of laundry that day, the sheets having been found in the dryer, other clothes still in the wash? I think Travis' friend said that he (Travis) was a clean/neat freak, and would never mix colors and whites (as they were), and would never put bleach into a colored wash, which was done. JA, known for her amazing memory and ability to recall, her attention to detail, conveniently had a "foggy moment" yesterday, saying she couldn't remember who washed the sheets, her or Travis. Can't wait for her explaination of the drag marks along the hallway walls!

Oh, one more question, about the long hair strand found stuck in blood on the hallway wall, identified as hers...wouldn't they be able to tell the color, blond or brown, dyed or not?

And didn't the roommate tell Flores when interviewed, that no knives were missing from the kitchen block? She said yesterday TA took one from the kitchen block to cut the rope.

Agree 100% elamir !! Regarding the throat slashing...any adult in a pure rage driven stabbing frenzy, could probably be capable of doing that. There would have to be some kind of experiment conducted on a realistic dummy, to see if it was even possible. When she was getting frisky with Ryan Burns, he said she was stronger than she looks, and she "repositioned" him during making out - and at that point, she wasn't even in a rage. She probably could've slit his throat more easily, since he was probably almost dead or unconscious at that point...no fighting back, no opposition at all. Anyway, regardless...she's a fucking monster.

Jodi liked to take photos. I wouldn't describe her as a pro or even particularly talented but she obviously spent some time time with a camera and some of her stuff is half decent. With the knowledge she must have had by then she never would have taken pictures of him in that shower stall in order to show of his body. There is no natural light and she just had the crappy built in flash. I don't believe for a second this was supposed to be some ordinary photo shoot.

When she described how she stood silently and watched Travis when she arrived she said the dog didn't notice her and bark right away. Was the dog deaf? I've known quite a few dogs through my life and they've always known right away when someone enters the house.
