A large portion of Palm Springs, (Warm Sands) is taken up by private resorts--walled and gated-- where people seeking uninhibited sexual experiences can go to find them. There are many other welcoming places scattered throughout the Coachella Valley. Given the variety of sexual experiences available to them, it became necessary to classify and label them by degree. At the bottom of the scale--the introductory level--is 'Vanilla' Sex--Garden variety heterosexual or homosexual sex in the missionary position. Married Sex, if you will. As for Jodi Arias, as a young outgoing women living in the Coachella Valley, she could not possibly have avoided learning the vocabulary of these sexual distinctions. Darryl Brewster, her live in, would be a supporting authority on the extent of the knowledge she picked up in the time Jodi lived in Palm Desert. I suspect that he was well known in the clubs and that's why he didn't want his face shown when he testified.

Even if she did not participate, at the very least, Jodi would have been exposed to people talking about the type of sexual experiences they had; ranging from 'Vanilla,' and on up the scale to where my imagination and experience refuse to take me.

Jodi knows very well what Vanilla sex means. Travis probably did not. He would have travelled to the Coachella Valley on the week-ends to pick up the knowledge.
